Chaeyoung went to move in in their house again because it will be a hassle
to find another apartment when the house is already theirs. She was mentally preparing herself for Lisa and she told herself she wouldn't mind her ex living in the same house as hers, lisa paid half of the house after all. She unpacked her clothes and hang it in the drawer. Lisa was still agitated about whatever is happening. Chaeyoung came back, but at what cost? she is still a loser.

Lisa went to buy coffee for both her and Chaeyoung as she noticed the girl was tired. She came home only to find Chaeyoung brewed herself a coffee already.  Lisa hid the other coffee in her back when Chaeyoung looked at her, she smiles "I figured how to brew myself a coffee" she said and offer some to Lisa but noticed the iced coffee in her hands so Chaeyoung said just help herself and came back to her room. Lisa who was found dumb drank the two iced coffee by herself resulting to a messed up stomach.

Weeks went by and they had small conversation at times and Lisa was contented by it, atleast she was talking to her. Chaeyoung continued her life as she wanted to, got back to her work and was loving it. Yeri was with her as a co-worker and Bambam also is achieving his goals slowly. Lisa was left in the house, still blaming and all those guilt wasn't letting herself work, she figured that out by now. She tried working from home but she just notices Chaeyoung's room across hers and there she went with the guilt tripping again. She is happy with Chaeyoung happy but she can't help to feel like she was being left behind by Chaeyoung, by her friends and by everyone.

Chaeyoung was still working under Lisa's company when she got back because they thought she was the best so they accepted her back. It was still a talk about things around the office about what happened last year but Chaeyoung didn't bother. She was greeted by the same team she met way back, and they were very welcoming although they were sorry about what happened, Chaeyoung said just forget about it and focused on what's now. Chaeyoung continued working on what she does best and was praised several times for it. Lisa gathered strength and went to the company to work again. It was the end of shift and it was time to go home when Chaeyoung met Lisa at the parking lot. Lisa looked at her and spoke. "I can drive you home" she said and opened the car door for her. "you really don't need to" Chaeyoung said and smiles walking away. Lisa sigh and looked at Chaeyoung's figure. "We literally live in the same house. hopping in the car wont make any difference" Chaeyoung made a sudden stop and huffed in annoyance.  she faced Lisa while Lisa signalled to get in the car. She walked and got in the car without a word. "Seatbelt please" Lisa said while doing her own. They drove home and Chaeyoung said a quick thank you before running inside the house. Lisa shook her head and put the keys in the table. "I can drive you everyday if you want" Lisa with a slightly loud voice said, of course Chaeyoung heard it. it was meant for her. "I dont mind, honestly" Lisa said and sat down the in sofa drinking water. "of course you don't" Chaeyoung scoffed and drown herself in the shower.

Then just like that, they were going to work and home together. They were the all around topic of all those nosy employees. It was a push and pull relationship between the two girls but Lisa didn't mind. the thing is they were talking, right? Lisa thought it might be better for things to stay like this than to stay at nothing. At least her work schedule was going back to normal, she felt relieved after a few weeks , everything was getting better. Although she thinks at night about all the things she regrets and what's its gonna be like if it wasn't for that mistake.

Chaeyoung's job went better and she was being promoted almost every month because of it. She was really the best and Lisa see through it all. "So, Dinner?" Lisa asked Chaeyoung as she drove home. Chaeyoung hummed busy wondering around the car window. "there's no food at home" Lisa said and took a left turn. Chaeyoung didn't speak nor created a sound that she agrees so Lisa went to talk again. "or i could just pull over a sec and grab food?" She looked over Chaeyoung who seemed to be deep in her thoughts so she did what she could do. she pulled over to a convenience store. she went inside the store and bought what she think Chaeyoung likes and paid for it. She came back and drove home.

Chaeyoung went inside and just sat down in the kitchen chair. Lisa finds it strange but then she realized it has been like that since Chaeyoung came back. No talking, only two girls who happens to live together and go to work together. Lisa sat down and open the food, reheated in the microwave and put it in the middle of the table. Chaeyoung wasn't eating or moving an inch so Lisa figured that it will be best if she would give the girl space. She grabbed her food then went into her room without saying a word. Chaeyoung finally let a breathe out and looked at the food. It was bothering her. Everything about this is bothering her. How come they can act like this? How are they even doing this? Like there's no history of them whatsoever and Chaeyoung was upset about that. She didnt know when this will stop. Her Co-workers was not helping either, they either talk about her or talk in her back. it was exhausting and thank god Yeri was there because if she wasn't, Chaeyoung was afraid she would loose her mind.

She gave Yeri a call and went to tell her what's happening. she called to say she was so upset by the fact that they were merely strangers. "Are you planning to move out or something?" Yeri asked. Chaeyoung didn't want to and she didnt know why. "No." Yeri laughed at the other line. "so you're calling because you hate being strangers with Lisa... and you didnt want to move out, okay i gotcha" Yeri deadpanned and it brought out the silence. "i dont know, yeri. its just.." yeri hummed waiting for the answer while Chaeyoung in her seat looking at the chair opposite her like Lisa was there. "I think im just waiting for something to come back" Yeri sigh knowing exactly what Chaeyoung meant.
