"Hey what do you know $50 more."I said sarcastically, "Told you they were higher."
"By $50 Alex, such a spike." Chris smiled.
"Ok, let's go look at some others." I said, trying to keep Chris from spotting the rest I needed.
"Don't forget," Chris said in an ah ah ahh voice, "I said I was gonna give you the rest."
"Really? You don't have to."
"I insist."
She picked up the dress.
"But first you've got to try it on." she said.
We walked towards the back next to the lingerie section to get to the dressing room. Then the most unexpected people popped up. Brittany and Jennifer, buying slutty things in the lingerie section of course.
Our eyes met. Don't get killed in here. The expression mine read. I just shitted myself. Theirs replied.
"Hey Chris and Alex." Jennifer said.
Me and Chris looked awkwardly at her. What was the fucking motive behind the second bitch being nice.
"Umm, hey?" I said more so in a question.
"How are you guys doing today?" she smiled.
I don't know why but I could feel she wasn't being fake.
"Where'd you get that dress?" she said.
Obviously I was wrong.
Chris pointed behind us. Then her and Brittany bumped into us pushing us out the way.
"Move out the way." Brittany said.
I guess they hadn't learned their lesson, but quite frankly I was too tired to think about perusing. We'd just have to save that for another day.
Me and Chris had finally reached the dressing room. We both went in together. My bra was too horrific to be undid by me.
"A thousand weights lifted." I said being freed from the beast.
"No prob." Chris said.
I pulled up the soft silk fabric in my particularly that day dry hands over me.
Just like I hoped, the upper half of the dress pushed up my breasts just enough to give a perky blonde look.
"O.. M.. G.." Chris said.
I turned around to the mirror. In one word I looked, heavenly.
"You think I look OK?" I asked Chris.
"No." she said
My mouth dropped, "No!?!?!" My breath sucked in with one great gulp, and sat in the middle of my stomach.
"You look fucking perfect."
My heart finally unclutched itself. It was a relief. My self esteem would have plummeted if she was telling the truth.
"I've never seen you take a joke so seriously." Chris chuckled slightly.
"Well, you haven't had your first yet." I laughed.
"Neither have you." Chris smiled.
After a couple seconds of looking at myself, and making sure everything was okay, we got ready to leave.
"Unzip me." I said turning my back to Chris.
"As you wish." Chris said unzipping the very stubborn zipper on my back.
