"Yes." I said, trying not to let my full geekiness show. I'm pretty sure some did.
He looked lovingly in my eyes, "You're so beautiful." He said.
I was staring at him too, it was like chemistry class. I felt a warm glow everywhere, this is what I'd been waiting for since Freshman year. Just then Chris began screaming my name from no where. I looked around, she wasn't anywhere. She kept calling me. My vision oddly became wavy, then, I woke up to Chris shaking my arm.
"You were out like a light." She smiled.
DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"You were moaning like a animal. You must have recited the whole dictionary in your dream." She said.
I wiped my forehead to rub the sweat off.
"I wish I recited the dictionary. All puns intended." I said.
"You are so ignorant." Chris laughingly gasped.
I smiled, "That's why virgins write the best imagines."
"Let's go."
We both hoped out the car at nearly the same time, apparently I wasn't dreaming about beating Jerry. We were walking in as he pulled up.
"To Forever XXI we go." Chris said.
"Really? I'm starving." I said.
"It won't take that long." Chris said.
The cold yet refreshing air smacked my neck as we walked in.
"Yessss it willll." I wined like a child.
I stomped and slumped my head down childishly. Then I refused to move.
"Really?" Chris said.
"I don't want to, I'm hungry."
Chris grabbed my arm and pulled me. I don't even remember if I became serious after 5 minutes of being difficult. We walked into the little department, some stereotypical girl music played above us. I hated our mall for having such a small space for so much beautiful clothing.
We walked from rack to rack searching through clothes.
"Is there anything in particular you want?" I said.
"Any kind of cute top." Chris said.
I rolled my eyes, "That really narrowed it down." I said sarcastically.
"You're not getting anything?"
"I don't think so."
Just then, I pulled out the most perfect shirt in the world. It was this silky pink shirt, that flared at the bottom. The flares were all white, which made it look like a skirt. I loved how softly the colors faded and switched around the hip area. Then the sleeves were long and white, and silky like everything else. The whole shirt was sheer, adding to it's flawlessness. I held it up for Chris to see.
"Christina, is this or is this not the best shirt made in history!?!?" I slowly said.
Chris looked puzzled. "That looks fucking horrible." She said.
I covered my ears pretending not to here her. "I can't believe you just said that." I gasped.
Chris nodded, "I can." She said. She picked up a fairly nice top afterwards. "This would go great with my grey jeans." She said.
I checked the price tag. $45 dollars. I only had $30. I had to get that shirt. I walked over to Chris, and placed the shirt back.
"Chris please let me borrow $15." I said.
