Stood up, showered, got dressed.

I should have knew it was a dream. Chris would never buy less than 6 things from Forever XXI, it was impossible. She had a very strict schedule for shopping. 3 shirts, 3 bottoms, and 4 accessories. The only time this was different was when she was on punishment.

"Alex, why don't you wear your shirt you got yesterday?" Mom said.

I had then remembered that I did go to the mall, and most of what happened was real. Besides Finn coming in saving me from a prick worker. The little girl who needed my help fixing the food was the first thing that came back.

"Where did you put it?" I said.

"Where do you think clothes go?"

"In a trash can."

"In the closet sassy."

"I'm not sassy, I'm sarcastic, there's a difference."

"Just like subtraction problems, there's an allowance difference."

That was my cue to stop. I pulled out the black skull shirt that screamed emo. My size too small white jeans went perfectly with it.

"Do you think I dress weird?" I asked.

Mom was in the hallway bathroom.

"No, why?" She said.

"Yesterday Chris said I dress emo one day classy one day and nerdy one day."

"Well..." she trailed off.

I took her long pause as an answer.

"It's not bad to dress different, it means your style is universal." She said.

I walked out into the hall, she had the door closed. Thank God.

"Alexia could you pass me some tissue?" She asked.

I spoke too soon.

"Sure." I said digging through the hallway closet.

She took it as I walked back out and went downstairs. I turned on the radio as a sat down.

"It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now." It rang.

"Who keeps turning to country?!?!" I said.

I quickly turned with the remote.

"You know your dad thinks he's from Texas." Mom somewhat laughed, walking downstairs.

"What about me and Texas?" Dad said mystically appearing at the top of the stairs.

We both laughed with each other.

"Nothing John." Mom said.

"I did live in Texas, when I was 4." Dad said.

"For two years." Mom said.

I listened to them as I played Subway Surfers.

"Two years seems long to me."

"Oh please."

"Daddy there's a spider in my room." Ari said walking down the stairs.

Why the fuck was everybody up?

"This isn't over." Dad said, walking towards the scared child.

"Alexia, don't forget to pick up Ari after school today." Mom said.

"Her school is too far to walk." I moaned.

"Alex, it's 5 blocks down."

"Too far."

"You walk farther than that to get to Chris's house."

"But I get some type of gain from that."

"You picking up your sister isn't benefitting."

"It's not my fault her bus broke down though."

"But it will be your fault if she gets kidnapped."

"Ugghhh!"

"Thank you."

I yanked my backpack over my shoulder and walked to the window. Just to look for no reason, probably a stress relief.

"Don't forget to take the next bus, the bus during that hour is crowded and dangerous."

I pretended to care by nodding and making noises you mostly heard from deaf people.

With a slight look at my phone reading it was time to go, I shot out the door. No one was there except for the one you'd least expect.... Reign.

"Hi Alexis." She said.

"It's Alexia." I replied.

"I'm sorry I knew it was something in that area."

"That's okay I get it a lot. How's it going."

"Who gave it to you?"

Why the fuck did waiting for the bus turn into interviews with Nancy Grace?

"My dad originally named me Alexis, but when he went to the restroom my mom wrote it. Her s looked really shitty, so they typed it out as an a."

Her face looked really puzzled at the fact that really happened.

"Anyway, the name just stuck. Plus my parents were like really broke back then."

"Don't you have an older brother?"

I slightly paused. It was quite an awakening. I hadn't thought about Eric. She must have noticed.

"Don't you?" She said.

"He recently passed away."

I absolutely hate when you tell people a family member died. They do this uncomfortable thing that I always found annoying. They'd blink, twitch, suck their lips, think of what to say that wasn't too fake or offensive.

"You don't have to say anything." I said, stopping her from her miniature seizure.

John walked up, along with the rest of the bus stop gang.

"I'm so sorry." She said.

The bus was slowly closing in from the street further down.

"I said it was OK, don't worry about it."

"Alexia." John said.

" Ugh."
