[mike pov]
i felt like a real asshole for making ada think i was using her. i sincerely only thought of chantelle when we got into my room. after ty walked in my room and leaving with his and ada's stuff, i really started to feel guilt. after a few minutes, i went to go apologize.

[tyler pov]
i had a comfortable silence with ada as we watched the sunset. i feel like i cluld never have moments like this with those preppy girls like leann and chantelle. even paige lowe, the 'prettiest' girl in our grade according to most of the boys at our school. it was interrupted when mike came outside.

[ada pov]
i sat up. "ada im sorry. i truly didnt even think of chantelle until we got in my room. i feel terrible and im sorry, i really am." he said.

i stood up and walked over to him and without saying anything i just gave him a hug. i could tell he was shocked by the way he hugged back. it was really unlike me but sometimes all a broken person needs is a hug.

"i forgive you, michael." i say, pulling out of the hug.

he smiled. "i really am sorry." he said.

"its fine. also, dont expect anymore hugs. i was feeling generous." i say as i sit down and wrap myself in my sleeping bag.

"you dont have to sleep out here." mike said.

"but mike i lost. i said whoever loses sleeps outside so whoever loses sleeps outside!" i say, smiling.

"but, ty, you didnt lose." greg says.

"im keeping ada company. she needs it, who knows what she'd do out here by herself." tyler replied, smirking.

"rude." i say.

he laughed. "well then it looks like im sleeping out here too." steve says.

"yeah, we should babysit these two to make sure they dont do 'bad things' out here..." greg says.

i roll my eyes, smiling, trying to hide my blushing cheeks. "are you blushing, ada?" mike asks, pretending to be shocked.

"nope." i reply.

we all agreed on sleeping outside. these boys truly arent that bad. i was glad they were my friends. just then, my first memory of elliott popped into my mind.
