[ada pov]
i practically dragged ty down thd stairs as an excuse to hold his hand. when we had gotten down, it was almost time to leave. "alright let's go." i say.

"but you still have time! one more episode?" greg pleaded.

"no." i said, sternly and turned the tv off.

we hopped on our bikes and finally reached the pond. we hid behind a tree and soon we saw davy. "there's my cue. i'm very nervous and. not the good kind." i say, wearily as i walk off.

[tyler pov]
they had been sitting on a blanket talking and laughing for minutes. "she's obviously fine let's go." i say.

"we know youre jealous, ty, but she doesn't feel safe and we should be here for her." steve says.

"bogus! come on." i say and we walk off with our bikes.

we walked maybe 10 steps down the road when we heard a scream. ada's scream. "i told you, tyler!" steve says, hopping on his bike and pedalling into the thicket we came from.

michael and greg trailed behind him just infront of me. when we got to ada, davy had her pinned down by her wrists and was on top of her.

[steve pov]
i was going to run over there and get physical but before i could a rock the size of a softball hit davy's forehead and tyler screamed, "go to hell!"

[tyler pov]
davy's head bled. who cares? i ran to ada because davy had knocked out cold. her eyes were full of pain and her mouth hung open in shock. steve and i went to hug her but she yelled, "no!"

she still looked shocked as we did at her. she started backing up on her forearms a bit. "you... you left me!" she yelled, a single tear fell down her face.

"we didn't-" "i don't care." she sobbed.

"i could've... oh my gosh i could've." she started but then collapsed in my arms.

"lets go. now. now!" she said.

we didn't hesitate and ran along to our bikes with her. i can't believe davy did that. ada was right. if we hadn't been there, she could've... i just shudder thinking about it.

we find ourselves in silence pulling up to my house. we were just following ada. she stopped. she wiped her eyes with her navy blue jacket sleeve. she looked at me.

"oh, uh, right. let's go in." i say.
