This is a fibonacci poem, where the number of syllables are as per a fibonacci sequence. Often only six lines are written (for the next number is 13 then 21, and it is difficult to write sentences with 13 or 21 syllables). If a longer poem is desired, then the second half is the 'reverse' of the first half (as I have done here).
