In the day bright, when the sun does glow
Bringing a blush to your face,
By candlelight, under the moonlight,
Just the sight of you makes my heart race.

You are a pretty sight, when we walk,
In silence across the sands,
Under the moonlight, by candlelight,
Or sitting by the fire, holding hands,

In the night, in gathering darkness
In the sky's starry haze,
By candlelight, under the moonlight
It is only at you would I gaze.

Tiny fairy lights, sparkle and shine,
Spin me around for a dance,
Under the moonlight, by candlelight,
Only with you, I will take a chance.

Tiny fairy lights, sparkle and shine,Spin me around for a dance,Under the moonlight, by candlelight,Only with you, I will take a chance

Today's form is the ZaniLa Rhyme, an interesting, modern repeating form. This form was created by Laura Lamarca, and consists of at least 3, 4 line stanzas.

The rhyme scheme for each stanza is the same as Long Measure,

a. b. (c1. c2.) b.

Instead of being Iambic Tetrameter it has a syllable count of

9. 7. (9.) 9.

Line 3 is a Repeating Line, which contains an internal rhyme and is repeated in each alternate stanza as in the first stanza. Each even stanza line contains the same line but with the two parts of the internal rhyme swapped. There is no maximum poem length.
