Confined to homes, in this tiring times,
Amid anxiety, panic and uncertain climes,
Treat it as a holiday,
Enjoy each passing day
Even if future looks bleak sometimes.Listen to music or read a new book,
Stop by a window to simply look,
Hot coffee or steaming tea,
Chatting with friends and family,
Try out new hobbies or learning to cook.So many days lost in endless chase,
As dreams against obligations race,
Make a collage, grow a garden,
Play silly games with children,
Savour the rare, slow, relaxing pace.Small things that give much pleasure,
Enriching our lives beyond measure,
Taking but a moment of time,
Cost neither penny or dime,
Yet yield memories, a priceless treasure.Unnoticed when leisure and work are at strife,
Sudden joys springing when troubles are rife,
Unexpected, surprising, and charming,
With happiness your heart doth sing,
Oh! These simple little pleasures of life.
Quintilla is a 16th century Spanish Quintain form of eight syllable (Iambic Tetrameter) lines. The rhyming scheme can vary in presentation, but only two consecutive lines may have the same rhyme pattern.
