Excuse Me Did You Say Vampires?

CAROLINES POV.

''Caroline you’re here!''

Mason greeted me with a sigh of relief.

''H…Hey!''

I greeted back still in shock.

''You ok?''

He asked clearly confused about my reaction when I saw them.

''Y…Yeah I’m fine…''

I said snapping out of the initial shock.

''So… Guys that’s Caroline Elizabeth Petrova. Caroline, meet Liam James Payne, Harry Edward Styles, Niall James Horan, Louis William Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, you’ll be their guard.''

Mason introduced us.

''Hey, nice too meet you.''

I tried putting on a smile, still hoping that they don’t recognize me.

ZAYNS POV.

*** Ten Minutes Before***

''Hi, I’m Mason I am the head trainer of the Covenant, and I’m here to introduce you to your guardian. I believe she will be here any time soon.''

The dark, tall, buff introduced himself and so did we.

''So, what does a guard do?''

Asked obviously confused Liam.

''Well, since you’re new here you’ll need a guard so she can show you what exactly being a member of our community means, all though a guard  also protects you from any dangers that my accrue before your properly trained. Does that explain it?''

We all nodded our heads, waiting for the information to sink in.

''Good.''

He said to himself proud of his explanation skills.

''T…They didn’t really explain anything to us before they brought us here, they only told us that were changing into something…so… um… what exactly are we becoming?''

''Ooo, yeah… Sorry. You are becoming vampires.''

He said like it was an every day thing.

''Vampires! We can’t be vampires! Omg!''

Niall almost yelled in disbelief.

''Yes, yes you can. Let me ask you something, lately when you felt hungry and ate, but it never made you full, like you were hungry but not for food? Think about it.''

His question did make me think. It’s actually true, I’m never full lately. The lads and I basically ate whatever came in our hands. He has a point there. All though one thing doesn’t make sense…

''But if we were to be vampires, wouldn’t we have fangs?''

I asked confused as hell.

''Ooo… don’t worry, you’ll get them.''

He said laughing.

''When?''

Louis asked.

''When you feed for the first time. For the change you won’t be alone you’ll have your guardian to lead you through it, so don’t be scared.''

He reassured us with a smile.

''Will it hurt?''

Asked clearly scared Liam.

''95% out of 100% you don’t feel a thing.''

''What happens if were in that 5%?''

He asked again.

''Well, in that case you are very lucky, because I know your guard and believe me she is very experienced, so she will help with the pain.''

He tried lightning the mood with a laugh.

I million thoughts ran through my mind when suddenly the door opened.

My eyes grew wide when I saw her. There she stood the girl of my dreams, literally. Now the only thought in my brain was ‘it’s her, she’s real!’. Wow, she’s even more gorgeous than I remember her. 

''Caroline you’re here!''

Mason greeted her with a sigh of relief.

''H…Hey!''

She greeted back. She almost looked as shocked as we were. 

''You ok?''

He asked clearly confused about her reaction.

''Y…Yeah I’m fine…''

She answered.

''So… Guys that’s Caroline Elizabeth Petrova. Caroline, meet Liam James Payne, Harry Edward Styles, Niall James Horan, Louis William Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, you’ll be their guard.''

Mason introduced us.

''Hey, nice too meet you.''

She greeted us, as if she never met us.

''I…Umm… Didn’t we meet before?''

Harry asked shakily.

''Shit…''

She muttered.

''So I guess you remember me?''

She asked almost unsure how to react.

''Weren’t you and your friends the ones that saved us that night about two years ago?''

Louis asked hoping for a yes. I wont lie I was hoping for a yes too, it would explain the strange dreams that we all had.

''Yes, it was us.''

She almost whispered and looked down.

''Well, since you guys already know each other it makes our request even easier.''

Mason laughed.

''What request?''

Caroline asked clearly confused.

''Your apprentices will be living with you.''

She looked surprised.

''What?!''

We all said in unison.

''Well, the console believes that that’s the best way for a guardian to do their job more efficiently. Caroline lives in a mansion so there is more than enough space. You will move in today. No buts.''

We all sighed in defeat.

''OK than… Come with me.''

She commanded leading us out of the room.

I can’t believe it’s happening I’m actually moving in with a girl who makes my knees week. And, o yeah we’re FUCKING VAMPIRES!!!
