CAROLINES POV.

We sat on the swinging bench on the porch.

''What have you been up to? Where have you been? How are you? Did you find Nathan?''

I literally showered her with questions.

''Whoa, there! Slow down.''

She said rising her hands in the air.

''Well I've been all over. I just came back from France.''

She continued.

''Did you find Nathan?''

I asked hopping for a yes.

''I did but...''

She drifted off looking down.

''But what?''

I asked again concerned.

''Well... He's kind of a...''

She said taking a deep breath.

''Spit it out.''

I snapped at her annoyed.

''He's a Lycan!''

She finally spoke.

''He's a what?! No, no, no! He can't be!''

I panicked.

''I'm sorry. While I was in France I finally found him, but he was already one of them. He actually tried to kill me, because I wanted to help him turn back... Caroline I'm sorry I couldn't do anything about it.''

''No, I'm sorry I shouldn't have let you look for him alone. Maybe if I was there...''

I felt like shit leaving my little sister alone looking for him. She could have been killed and maybe he wouldn't change into a monster! I'm such a terrible sister!

''Caroline... Caroline, look at me it isn't your fault. You had to be here you were looking for Klaus and Luke. Speaking of them did you find them?''

''Yeah I ran into Klaus about two years ago...''

''And what happened? Did you kill him?''

''No...''

I looked down, toying with the hem of my shirt.

''Why not?''

She raised her eyebrows confused.

''I don't know... I really don't... Maybe it's the thought of him someday becoming good? Maybe I still believe there's something good in him?''

''Yeah I thought the same once, but than I found out what he did and now I pretty much hate his guts.''

She said coldly.

''We should really go inside.''

''Yeah we should, they probably ate all the food.''

We both laughed and walked inside.
