We got home around 8:30. I had a wonderful time and it was great seeing Hunters family again. We stayed up till 10:57 just talking.

"Hunter, I seriously love your family." I said, climbing onto the bed. I sat cross crossed while he changed for bed.

"I'm glad. They love you." he told me.

"Your grandmother told me some things that made my heart flutter. Like, I just love her." I told him, twirling my hair.

"What did she show you? Or tell you?" he asked, turning around to face me. I got up and walked into the bathroom into my jewelry box and came back into the bedroom with the necklace. I held it out to him.

"It was your great grandmothers. Your mom was pregnet with you when she passed.. And the family was hoping you would be a girl so they could pass it down to you. But, you're obviously not a girl." I said, smiling. He laughed, knowing what I was thinking. He held the necklace and observed it. "So she told me that since the family loves me and they know that you love me, she wanted to give it to me. Then she told me that you've been waiting for me." I told him, looking into his eyes. He looked into mine, with a little pink in his cheeks.

"I have. You have no idea." he said, giving the necklace back to me. He ran his fingers through his hair, and then looking back into the mirror.

"Tell me." I asked, walking back into the bathroom, putting the necklace back. I walked back into the bedroom and went back to my spot on the bed. I sat cris cross again. He turned around to look at me. He just stared at me.

"Where do I begin?" he chuckled.

"From the beginning." I said.

"Alright.. Well.." he started to think. He came over to the bed and sat across from me.

"I'll tell you my story after yours." I compromised with him. He smiled and thought again.

"I guess it all started when I got dumped by a girl in high school named Emma. She heard I wrote songs and recorded them in my bedroom when I had free time, and she thought it was funny to make up a stupid song and post it on YouTube titled "The Stupid BreakUp Song" and told me to watch it. I watched it, thinking she liked singing and writing too, turns out she was only breaking up with me. The whole school saw it and thought it was hilarious and she became popular and all thy stupid stuff.." he said, starting to get a little upset.

"Babe, you don't have to tell me it you're not ready to actually talk about it" I told him.

"No, I want to." he said, looking up at me. I nodded and he continued. " So that's when I said I wanna move to Nashville and start singing. We moved and I didn't have a girlfriend for around 2 years. I hated the fact that I couldn't call someone up and vent to. But then I started becoming more recognized and I started singing at more bigger places. Then I sang at the CMA fest. and you were there, and I saw you. I literally though my life changed and I didn't even know your name. Then we started talking and everything and it felt nice to have you there. I remember coming home one night and telling my parents about you, and how happy I was, and then you called me and my face lite up and then they knew too. From there on out, I've been in love with you." he told me, smiling. I smiled back. "Now you tell me!" he said, sounding excited.

"Well. I was dating a guy named Brent when I first met you.." I said, and before I could continue, he barged in.

"You had a boyfriend when I met you! Like.. The tour bus night!" he asked.

"Yea. But let me finish," I said, holding up my finger to shush him. He crossed his arms, smiling.

" I went out to breakfast the next morning and just fell in love with you. I went home and told AmberLee about you, and she told me to forget Brent, because Brent was a big quarterback on the high school football team, and I was just a regular girl, who wrote the schools newspaper. He was a big jerk, and got really mad when I didn't go to one of his games but then again, he never read one of my newspapers. So I told him in person that I met another guy, and he was calm at first. I told him that I like you more and that I was gonna be with you, and he flipped out. He threatened to slap me, but he didn't. I didn't cry once, but what I heard from all his friends that he was wreak. But I loved you. You were 10x nicer on our first date, then Brent ever was once in our relationship. My mom was esthetic to hear that I was dating you, because she knew who you were since she works for the country music radio station in our town, so she loved you too. And ever since Ive loved you too." I told him. He uncrossed his arms and leaned into me and kissed me. I put my hands on his cheeks and kissed him again.

"When do you have to leave again?" I asked him, breaking the kiss.

"Two days" he told me. I nodded. "But I have something to tell you." he told me. I looked up into his eyes really fast. Before I could ask he told me.

"I'm gonna be in California on our anniversary..." he told me. It hurt a little tiny bit, but I knew that he was gonna come home a couple weeks after that for Christmas.

"It's ok, you're still coming home for Christmas though, right?" I asked him.

"No it's not ok, I tried to get Chris to re schedule but I can't. Ill defiantly be home for Christmas." he said.

"It's really fine babe, you're doing something that means the world to you and it's fine. Really I'm ok."

"You mean the world to me, Belly." he said. I looked at him.

"It's ok. I promise." I said, calmingly. He nodded, finally agreeing with me.

"Guess where I'll be?" he asked me.

"Where?" I said.

"The Ellen Show, this time for a interview." he said, sounding actually happy now.

"Omg! Then you defiantly can't cancel. That's awesome!!" I told him, really excited for him. He sounded finally happy. I leaned over and kissed him. He kissed me back.

"Can we do something together tomorrow?" he asked me.

"Why of course. Why wouldn't we?!" I asked him, smiling.

"I don't know. I must be really tired." he said, pulling the covers back to go to sleep.

"Me too. Today was fun. I'm so happy you're home." I told him, crawling into bed myself.

"Yea.. For now." he said, in no tone of voice. I looked over at him and he was turned over the other way. I shoved him and laughed. He rolled back over and faced me. I looked back into his eyes.

"I love you, grumpy gills." I said, laughing. He smiled and shook his head at me.

"I love you too, goodnight." he said. I reached behind me and turned the lamp off and cuddled close to him.

This goodbye wasn't as hard for me as it was to him. Because he doesn't know a little surprise me and Ellen have in store for him. I kissed him goodbye and he kissed me back. I hugged him and walked up the porch steps. He walked down our sidewalk and back into the bus. He stood at the front again and waved. I tapped my heart 3 times again. He did it too and I blew a kiss. As the bus turned around, he pretended to catch it. The bus took a left this time and I walked back inside. I ran up the steps and into the bedroom. I opened my closet and pulled out some dresses. One stood out the most and I tried it on. It was perfect. I had shoes to go with, plus the jewelry. I'm now ready to surprise Hunter on Ellen on our anniversary.
