2 weeks went by like 2 years. Forever. I hopped down the last step and ran over to our radio playing in the living room. I quickly put a CD in of all my favorite country songs and hit play. I turned the surround sound on and Luke Bryan filled the room. I ran back up the steps to check if I turned my straightener off, when I heard the front doors open and bags drop to the floor, I knew he was home.
"Belly!?" he yelled over the music. I ran out of the bedroom and saw him smiling up the stairs, looking up at me.
"Hunter!!" I yelled down at him, running down the steps. When I got to the last step, I jumped into his arms. I breathed in his smell and wrapped my legs around his waist, lifting my head out of his shoulder, and looked him in the eyes.
"I've never missed you so much like I've had these last two weeks." I told him, looking into his eyes.
"I've never knew I could miss someone so much like I've missed you." he told me. I leaned into his face, resting my forehead on his forehead. I took my hands and put them on his cheeks, and kissed him. I kissed him for so long, just having his lips on mine made me the happiest person ever. I released our lips from each other, and realized the front door was wide open. I looked back at him.
"You're letting the heat out, Hayes." I laughed.
"God, I missed that laugh." he smiled at me and kissed me again. He set me down and closed the door. I walked right up behind him and kissed him again.
"I've been waiting to kiss you for the longest time." I told him, hugging him. "It seriously felt like a piece of me went with you when you left." I said into his chest.
"Well, I think you should know that I would be the one to tell Chris to call you for me every night. I couldn't go on without knowing you were listening." he said. I smiled, and hugged him tighter.
"Ready to get fat tomorrow!?" I asked him, releasing from our hug.
"Cant wait any longer" he laughed. I took his hand and walked him into the kitchen.
"So, for the past couple days I've been baking... If you didn't see on twitter" I winked at him.
"Oh I saw it, cutie. Who took it?" he asked.
"Oh yea, that was AmberLee. We were 'baking' together." I made quotations on baking, because we were trying really hard.
"Remember that picture you showed me when it was my birthday, and we were dating, and you guys baked that cake with your version of my portrait? It looked like Mr. PotatoeHead. And you guys were dying." he laughed while saying.
"Omg, I will never forget that." I pulled a piece of each cakes I made, for Hunter to test.
"You saved me some! Yeeesssss" he got a fork out and dug into the one.
"Thats a chocolate eclair pie. That's probably the best one." I said. He took another bite. " I'm guessing you like it." I added, laughing at him shoving it down his throat.
"I'm just super hungry." he said.
"Do you want me to make anything?" I asked him, already going to wash my hands. It's a habit with living with a germaphobe.
"Nah, I'm good with these pies. What else is there?" he said, putting the eclair to the side.
"Here's chocolate cake because I know you love chocolate." I handed him a corner piece. "And you like the corner pieces." I smiled at him.
"Well you know me too well I guess." he leaned over the counter and kissed me. I kissed him back.
"Do you want anymore? Or are you fine with that?" I asked him
