"...Like a wave out of the ocean I will always come right back to you.
Like we blinked, not a moment is gone, and we pick up where we left off..." Hunter sang. This song always made me tear up. Especially when he gets really into it at the end. I was with him when he wrote this song for "The Act Of Valor" soundtrack, so it makes it even more special. By the end of the performance, I had tears in my eyes. The whole audience was on their feet and clapping. The clapping went on for what seemed like 2 hours, and he soaked it all in. He noticed I was crying and he shook his head, smiling. The interviewer went into commercial and than called me on stage to get situated on the stage for the interview. I ran to Hunter first, giving him a big hug. I quickly kissed him, trying not to make a sene. We say down on the orange couches and while the interviewer went to go get more makeup, I turned to Hunter.
"That was the best yet." I told him, smiling.
"Really? I thought when I preformed it the last time, in the poring rain, that it was my best yet." he winked.
"It gets better every time you preform it. That songs always my favorite." I told him. He smiled, looking in my eyes.
"It was for you today, you know that." he said. I smiled, shaking my head.
"I do now." I said, laughing. The interviewer sat back down with 1 minute till show time. She smiled at us, than taking a sip of her water. I leaned back over to Hunter.
"You performing "Light Me Up" too?" he nodded. I smiled.
"Ok, I know that songs about me." I smiled at him. He raised his eyebrow at me. I smiled. "Because the night we met was July 3 and I met you for breakfast on the 4th and than we watched the fireworks that night and I told you I've never watched fireworks with some one and you said the same thing." I told him. He smiled.
"You're too good." he chuckled. I smiled, turning back over to the interviewer.
"And we're back with the one and only Hunter Hayes along with his healthy and gorgeous wife, Isabelle. It's nice to see you two." she smiled at us.
"You too!" I said. Hunter agreed.
"So, let's dive right in. Belle, how are you." she asked.
"I'm better than ever, actually. I'm really blessed to have the support that I have and I thank everyone who cared and supported Hunter through the tough time, because I could never imagine the pain he went through." I said, looking over at him. He rubbed his hands together and looked at me. "Hes defiantly a fighter." she said. I smiled up at her. "Now, do you remember anything?" she asked.
"Funny story actually, I just re-gained my memory a couple days ago, but when I first woke up, I didn't remember much. Somehow god blessed me with the gift to remember again and I'm soo happy that I do remember." I said. People clapped and I smiled out to the audience.
"Now tell me Hunter, how did you stay so strong knowing that your wife was in a coma" she asked. Hunter sat up and answered.
"I honestly don't know. Their were times were I thought I was gonna give up, that she wasnt gonna wake up. And I always had that scary thought that she'd wake up and not remember me. But their was one thing that I did know, and that was I knew she wouldn't leave without a goodbye. She never leaves without a goodbye. So I knew, that if I needed some faith, that she would return to say goodbye to me, either if she knew me or not, their would be a goodbye." he said. The audience clapped again and some cheered.
"What was the first thing you did when you woke up, Belle." she asked me.
"I saw him sitting next to my bed, with his head burried in his hands and the first thing I did was reach my hand out to him. I needed to show him I was ok." I said, taking his hand. She smiled at us.
"You two are so cute, you know that." she joked. The audience laughed and some cheered. I laughed looking at Hunter who was smiling.
"So tell us what the big news is." she asked, changing her position in the way she was sitting.
"We get to bring our adorible son home tonight." I said, smiling. A picture of Car when he was first born popped up on the screen behind us. I smiled, that's my baby! She smiled at it as the audience awwwehd. I smiled over at Hunter, who was beaming.
"He looks just like you, Hunter." she said, looking at the picture than back down to Hunter. She was smiling. I laughed, looking back at Hunter who was smiling. I looked back at the interviewer.
"Well I'm glad you are healthy Isabelle, and I wish you two the best with parenting, it's a wonderful time. When we come back, Hunters singing another song for us. See you in a few!"
"And we're off!" the set man said, "Five minutes!" he yelled again. I kissed Hunters cheek and walked off the set, sitting back down next to the sound guy. Hunter walked over to the stage and picked up his guitar, standing next to him was Devon and Matt. Hunter stood there with a smile on his face. Matt leaned over and made a "Call me!" signal and Devon leaned over and winked. Hunter nudged them as I laughed. Hunter patted his heart three times, smiling at me. I did the same back as the stage turned black. The interviewer came back on and the show started.
"We're back with the amazing Hunter Hayes, performing his single "Light Me Up", here he is.. Hunter Hayes!" she introduced while everyone clapped and cheered. I clapped, watching him. The guitar started playing as lights were going everywhere.
"I was a ferris wheel, in an empty, where nobody goes. Had all the curtains drawn, Sitting all alone, feeling like a ghost. I was a broke down heart break, bad in need of a little of loves electricity. A bursted carnival ride, in the middle of the night. When you flipped the switch, you turned on the show.. You light me up... Like fire works flying on the forth of July..." he sang. I smiled, knowing it was for me. I blew a kiss to him.

•Hunters P.O.V•
We were all in the living room. My mom was holding Car, while Belles mom and dad were in the kitchen talking to Belle. I walked up to my mom and Car. I sat down on the arm rest and looked down a Car.
"He's beautiful." she said, smiling up at me.
"I know. He's already got my good looks." I joked. She laughed. Car was fast asleep in her arms. According to the nurses, this was way past his bedroom.
"Would you like to put him to bed, it is rather late." she said, standing up. I stood up too. She slowly handed me Car, trying not to wake him. "I'll tell Belle, go ahead up." she said, walking over to the kitchen. I walked down the hall and up the stairs. I opened his bedroom door and lowered him into his crib. He was still sleeping, so I covered him up and locked the cribs bar. I was looking down at him, amazed at how perfect he actually is. Belle slowly walked in, cracking the door behind her. She smiled at me when I looked up. She walked over and rested her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her waist. She eventually wrapped her arms around me.
"He's so peaceful." she whispered.
"I know. Hopefully he doesn't wake us up too early." I whispered back. She lightly laughed. I kissed her head.
"Well, every thing has changed. We're parents now." she said, Unwrapping her arms from me and looking in my eyes. I smiled. She leaned behind Cars crib and turned the monitor on and a blue night light. She re joined my eyes after. I leaned down and kissed her.
"We're defiantly ready." I said. She smiled and grabbed my hand. We walked out of the room and I turned the light off, cracking the door. Before We left, we looked through the crack at our new son, or new reason to live.
