Dodging Bullets || Antonio Dawson

"It's our bad , have a nice day." Antonio told the man as he walked away. Alejandra walked beside him as they went inside. He leaned down to her ear. "You look good in my sweater by the way."

He walked off , leaving her with a small smile. They went up to the door and Voight nodded at Jay. Jay shoved his shoulder against the door as it bursted open.

"PAUL WATTS ! CHICAGO PD!"

The unit swarmed in and Upton and Halstead went into the living room.

"Body !" Halstead shouted. Everyone else put their guns down and walked in to see the man with a bullet in his head with blood splattered against the wall behind him. Hailey looked closer at the man.

"Call it in." Voight said to Ruzek.

"Alright."

"What do you see ?" Antonio asked Hailey.

"It wasn't a suicide. Gun is on the right while the keys and wallet are on the left side of his belt. He has no burn from the muzzle flash or gun shot residue on his face." Hailey said before looking around." Somebody had to shoot him from atleast five feet away ? It's a set up."

Voight looked at his team.

"We gotta find some information on this guy. Alejandra , find something when we get back , let's go back now !"

The team walked out and went to their cars before going back to the hospital. They went back into their small room and Alejandra magically pulled a computer from behind her back.

"The hell did you get that from ?" Adam Ruzek asked her.

"I literally stole it earlier today and just kept it."

Alejandra put the computer down and opened it back up.

"While I was doing other stuff , I went and already did a search on him knowing Voight. Watts has been digging his nose into these hardcore anti-government groups and I pulled up some names of people he had the most contact with. Didn't get into the emails but did get adresses."

She turned the laptop to show some men. Ruzek scanned the laptop before asking a question.

"Go to number five."

She tapped a button and it actually went to the fifth male. One of he saw earlier today.

"That's the guy."

"What guy ?" Voight asked.

"Told me he saw two dark skin males in sunglasses were leaving the scene.  He's here."

"Let's go find that bastard."

The unit followed behind Voight. As they walked past many patients and nurses and doctors, they finally had eyes on him. He was talking very friendly to a nurse.

"Thank you for everything." He smiled. "And I'm sorry for what you guys have been going through."

Voight looked at Halstead. He nodded and looked at his new partner before nodding his head over to the mysterious man. Upton and Halstead walked up to both sides of the man.

"Pat Vaughn ?" She asked. He looked at her and smiled.

"Yeah ?"

"Would you mind coming with us for a minute ?" She smiled.  He immediately looked over and saw all the officers, dressed in black. He was very nervous as his cheeks started to red.

"But I just checked out ?"

"We just have a few follow up questions."

"Sure , of course."
