"He's not going to want to stay," you told Hulk as you lounged on one of the couches in his suite.
"Thor stay. Friend stay," Hulk responded from his spot in the hot tub. He was hidden in the shadows which you were glad as you did not want to see too much of naked Hulk.
"I told you, big guy, I wouldn't mind staying here, but Thor is going to be harder to convince."
Hulk grunted and continued to soak in the tub. You looked at the other side of the room where Thor was passed out and being cared for by some nurses. He had been unconscious since the fight but luckily there was no severe damage. Hulk seemed convinced Thor would join you two in living it up here in Sakaar, but you weren't. Last time you saw Thor he had just lost his father, found out he had an evil sister, and lost his magic hammer on the same day. He had business to finish in Asgard and you doubted he would want to stay here partying while Hela was out there.
You had been waiting for Thor to come help you get back to Midgard, but now you were starting to have doubts. If you go back, you will just be stuck in the tower again waiting for the Avengers to need you in a mission or until Hydra finds you and forces you back. Here on Sakaar, you could do anything, of course just not go against the Grandmaster. Still, you could live the rest of your days here eating, drinking, and partying. No Avengers or Hydra telling you what to do, your past didn't matter here either. And with Hulk by your side, you could go on without ever having to pick up a weapon ever again. So far Sakaar was sounding more appealing.
You continued to go over the pros and cons of you staying or going until you were interrupted by the sound of Thor waking up. He must have freaked out because he started to thrash around which then made the nurses runoff.
You get up and walk over to him, "Woah calm down."
With a few grimaces, Thor stood up and looked at you confused. "Where are we?"
"One of the large suites. After the fight, you were brought here," you explained.
He placed his armor back on, "This is your room?"
"Nah he just lets me stay here." you gestured behind him.
Thor turned around to see Hulk sitting in the hot tub. He was confused seeing him there relaxed, yet he wasn't turning back to Banner. Thor put up his hands as a sign he meant no harm. "Are we cool?"
Hulk grunted in response.
"It's Hulk in a hot tub," Thor mused. "How long have you been like that?"
"Like what?"
"Like this. Big, green, ... stupid."
"Hulk always Hulk."
Thor looks at you and you shrug, "He's been like this since I arrived, I think even longer."
"How'd he get here?"
"Quinjet apparently," You lowered your voice before mentioning a certain scientist, "Don't know how Bruce's trip could have gotten so bad but something must have triggered Hulk."
"Where's the Quinjet now?"
Before you could tell him, Hulk stood up and exited the hot tub causing both you and Thor to turn away. You would never look at the color green the same again. Thor seemed as disturbed as you, "That's naked. He's very naked. It's in my brain now."
Unbothered Hulk pointed towards the Quinjet in the junkyard out the window. Thor looked in that direction while you tossed a towel at your green friend. "Seriously man we've talked about this."
Hulk waved you off and put on the towel before sitting on his bed while eating fruit. Thor's mood seemed to brighten as he looked at the Quinjet even though he had just been traumatized a few moments ago.
"Yes!" he quickly started to put on the rest of his armor, "I'm getting us out of here. This is a terrible, awful place. You're going to love Asgard. It's big. It's golden. Shiny."
"Hulk stay." Thor looked at him shocked.
"No, no, no. My people need me to get back to Asgard. We must prevent Ragnarok."
"Rag-na-ruh?"
"The prophesied death of my homeworld, the end of days, it's the end of-." Hulk yawned bored. "If you help me get back to Asgard, I can help you get back to Earth.
"Oh boy," you sighed knowing where this conversation was going.
"Earth hate Hulk."
"Earth loves Hulk. They love you. You're of the Avengers. One of the team, one of our friends. This is what friends do. They support each other," Thor reasoned.
"You're Banner's friend," Hulk accused.
"I'm not Banner's friend. I prefer you."
"Banner's friend."
"I don't even like Banner," He started a bad impersonation of Banner, "I'm into numbers and science and stuff."
"Thor go. Hulk and friend stay."
"No-no-no," Thor put an arm over your shoulders and brought you closer to him, "(Y/N) comes with me."
"Uh, about that..." you slowly took Thor's arm off of you and stood next to Hulk, "I think you're on your own on this."
"I know this isn't like the vacation I promised but your help in this could really mean a difference," he looked a little hurt as he spoke.
"Sorry, Thor but I gain more staying here than going back to Earth."
"You're an Avenger! We're a team!"
"I was raised by criminals Thor; how long did you really think that was going to last! You and the rest of the team don't trust me, and I don't blame you."
"If we didn't trust you, we wouldn't have given you a weapon to watch our backs during missions or let you into the tower where we keep our guard down."
"Only because you had a contingency plan. At least here they're honest about it." You pointed at your own obedience disk clearly comparing it to the bracelet they had put on you the first day you walked into the tower. "Besides, look at me! I won't fit in back there anyways."
"Maybe it's not permanent," he reasoned. You stared at him unamused and not convinced your side effects were going to go away soon.
"So, you're really staying?" Thor looked at you disappointed.
You couldn't help the guilt you felt in your chest as you responded, "Yes."
"Fine. Stay here, the both of you. Stupid place. It's hideous, by the way. The red, the white. Just pick a color." He tried to wave you off as he walked towards the exit.
"Smash you," Hulk taunted.
"You didn't smash anything. I won that fight!"
"I smashed you."
"Yeah, sure, sure."
"Baby arms." You chuckled at Hulk's insult.
"What?"
