CAPT. OLSEN WHIPPED HER ROTANG on the flaccid hanging body of Doran. He was pallid in sweat and was still salivating from his futile pleas to stop this maltreatment before he finally capitulated. His limp body was covered with more than twenty bleeding welt marks before Warden Emma Graves halted her Captain of Guards — and she ordered that the strung Preacher to be cut down, and sent to the Infirmary.

Everyone at the opposite edifice cell-blocks of the White and Negro inmates was relieved that the tribulation ordeal had finally ended.

Two guards loaded Doran face down on a stretcher, exposing the broken ectoderms on his back. He was taken away, passing the hissing Latinos — and some spat on his open wounds. Doran's eyes were half opened and he grimaced in silent while he was transported out through the Hispanic metal sally-gate.

Soft incantation of Doran's name was repeated above from the locked-down prison blocks when the stretcher was approaching towards their cell-blocks, on its way to the sickbay — and it was building up to get louder and louder with the White, Black and Asian prisoners who started chanting out...

"Doran! Doran! Doran!

"Preacher! Preacher! Preacher!"

The injured monk smiled weakly to himself to hear the rhapsody of celebrating voices that seemed momentous — the will of the voices inside of his head was done — to preamble the work of the Soldier of God again.

Warden Graves, Capt. Olsen and the remaining guards looked speechless as the loudest roars of the chanting which were coming distinctively from blocks occupied by the Blacks — who made up almost half of the general population of Tombscradle.

The leader of the Mexican prisoners, Ramirez was very worried, and one of his top lieutenants approached him and uttered in Spanish, looking up to the snarling and phrenic chants...

"Ese, do you hear them?"

The leader's dreaded voice choked to portend...

"That ugly monk has now got the Niggers on their side — we are totally outnumbered if they were riot someday!"

The prolong racket vociferously grew into deafening jangles, and the Preacher's prophesy of creating an uprising was unfolding clearly in the eyes of the adversaries...

It would be in a matter of time for the full-blown magnanimity of the advent mayhem to ignite.
