Bailey's POV
I wake up surrounded by darkness. I think of everything that has happened to me. I was captured by W.I.C.K.E.D., my boyfriend was taken for a test, and I don't even know where he is. I feel a rush as the box I'm in lifts me up. The box comes to a stop and light hits my eyes. I scurry to hide behind a stack of smaller boxes. Someone opens up the box and jumps in, someone calls out,
"Hey, Newt? See anything?" Newt? I peek my head and there he is, the perfect hair and eyes. He responds,
"No" his beautiful accent is still the same. Right before he exits I come out and hug him,
"Oh Newt, I've missed you so much!" I let go and he looks at me. He raises his eyebrows,
"Do I know you?" I stutter,
"It...s me, Bailey." He shakes his head,
"Sorry nope." I felt tears come to my eyes as I jump out of the box and run as far as my legs could take me.
Newt's POV
I see that girl run off and all I can think is how beautiful she is, no doubt that the other gladers will fall for her. But when she hugged me, I got a warm feeling inside my heart. Alby runs after her while I talk to Gally.
"That greenie is perfect." He said, my heart dropped, but I try to support Gally. "But she's not my type, but I see she might like someone else." He also said looking at me. I grin and he slaps my back. I run over to her and Alby.
"Bailey, this is Newt." He gestures to me. She turns her head towards me before breaking down crying. I hold her.
"It's okay, I know you can't remember anything but that happens t..." She cuts me off,
"I remember everything. " She says gritting through her teeth. Me and Alby look at each other.
"What?" I ask, she looks at me
"I remember everything." She stands up and looks at us. I grab one arm and and Alby grabs the other. We drag her into the center of the glade, we call every glader to this area so we can hear what Bailey remembers. She sits down and we tie her up. Once everyone is here we start.
"Hello everyone, today we received a newbie and it was a girl but this girl remembers everything." I hear gasps from the gladers. "And now we will hear about what she remembers of us." I look at Alby who nods. I look to her and ask,
"Who here do you remember?" She looks at me and whispers,
"Newt."she looks at me and smiles. I look at her,
"What about me do you remember?" Her eyes meet mine and they are full of tears.
"I remember how much we loved each other." Everyone starts talking now. I look to her. She smirks and she ropes that were around her hands was on the ground. She jumps up and runs out of the glade and into the deadheads.
