15 seconds later I was teleported to the bare kitchen of the ancient ones house, Throne by my side and everyone else just kind of appearing. My mind was racing now. Everything I knew about earthquakes flooding it but it was impossible to have an earthquake in Pennsylvania. But then again the things everyone in the room could do was beyond impossible.

I took a shaky breath in. After that a shaker step forward. Then I stumbled into Zoey.
"Sorry, I just don't know what to do." Zoey was about to say something but I cut her off raising my voice just slightly. I turned my head to the ancient ass hat.
"Why us, we're barely adults we can't even drink. So why this group of damned college kids. And by the way call we call you anything less dumb oh ancient one." Rolling my eyes trying to cover the fear with sarcasm.
"You can all call me  Chuck. And I chose you because you contain good will. February 25 of this year I placed people in front of you to see if you would save them, well in Sebastian's case it was a bird. But I was testing you." His eyes seemed to pierce through my skin, as I tried to remember that day in February he was speaking of. "Only those with good intentions could have even survived receiving the powers you were given." I stared to ache remembering the pain as my vines turned gray on the cold floor of a one room building. "My goal is to train the eight of you to save the world."
"How if it has already begun." Sebastian said the words that he wanted to scream them but didn't know how.
"Like how god makes angels. I will bless you the things needed, combat kills, first aid knowledge."
"But we have Georgia." Beck spoke for the first time hanging on her sisters name.
"Yes but what if we separated." Sam now lent her two cents making all of us a little bit more on edge.

I cleared my throat, "so what do you mean by combat skills?"
"Defense skills, do any of you know how to shoot a gun."
I raised my hand in response, "my sisters training to be a cop."  'Chuck'  nodded.
"Well things like that. You will all learn theses things." We all nodded a chill spread over the room. I pulled the jacket I was wearing tighter around me and crossed my arms.
"Zoey how many things can you turn into." Harper tried to break the silence.
"Very few I haven't really embraced this whole mystique thing." I think I was who understood what she meant.
"Harper how fast are you?" Thorne perked his head up at my question.
"About mach One." She replied like that was a typical answer.
Georgia hit her hand against the table in front of her. Her tan skill a bright contrast of the white fished wood.

"We all have a grasp on our powers. We know that. But how can that help us."
"That is where."
"The fight skills come in." Thorne fished 'chuck's sentence, " because if we can control magic and fight we can stop almost anything."
" precisely."
I want to say something, anything but all that came out was, "cinderblock room." I whisper the word so quietly I doubted anyone could hear me, Chuck responded with the coordinates 30.0000 N, 29.09000 W. I could hardly hear his voice in my head. I nodded and walked out the door leaving a room of people who had no clue what I was doing. I had no clue what was doing but I was going to do it.

My hand slid over the door. At was as if the door froze when I touched it. I listened for the soft clicking sound the door made the first time once I heard it I pushed the door in. Any expose skin went cold, I could see my breath as a walked forward. I went to work a piece of chalk in hand drawing out where everything would be. A set of bunk beds in the corner and a table in the center of the room. On the other side by the window a small kitchen.

I collapsed to the ground sweating trying to make this right. My fingers bloody from the rough parts of the ground exhausted and unsure of myself I got up and walked back to my dorm.

The next day I returned ikea products in hand. I set up the bed in the corner like my floor map said kitchen on the other side and round table in the center. I pulled in the two twin mattresses and then went behind the room.

The March breeze blowing my hair into my lip gloss. The abandoned basketball court had no nets and rusty metal poles. I pulled my hair off my lips and pushed out my hand trying to picture the orange tinted rust till it peeled of the basketball net and was on the ground. I swept it up and stared to clean the area up placing things down like a wrestling mat and a ball rack. This I'd where we meet this is where we train.

Chuck you there.
Destiny,
How will I learn to fight.
You need to come back
Okay I shudder at going back to that plain house. The egg like wall and ghostly exterior. Nonetheless I got in my car and drove.
