Destiny's body fell limp on the table as soon as Death left the room. "DESTINY! DES!"

I raced over to her, holding her head up with my hands. "Destiny, come on." I heard myself mutter. Her body was limp but she had a pulse, slow but it was there. I picked her up bridal style bring her over to the bed. Rushing over to the sink. I turned on the cold water, wetting a cloth of some sort.

Slowly I draped the cloth over Destiny's head. I pulled out my phone calling Harper.
"Hello"
"Hey Harper get you ass down here,"
"Alex what's wrong?!"
"It's Destiny, Death put her soul back and now she's unconscious." I tried to keep my voice calm but in all reality, I was freaking out.
"Ok yeah, yeah I'm on my way." Harper hung up the phone.

I went back to trying to wake Destiny up. I stared moving the cloth to other places of her head getting the small amount of blood from hitting her head off her face. I felt her pulse again, luckily now steady. I placed the cloth back on her head.

As I lifted my hand away from Destiny. She let out a soft groan gripping onto my sleeve. I brought my hand back down. As her eyes fluttered open. "Des, can you hear me?" I tried to keep my voice soft.

"My head feels like it's exploded, but I can still hear." I let out a low quite laugh. I hear the set of knocks on the metal door. "Mmm make it stop." Destiny moaned gripping my sleeve tighter.

"Shhh, you have to let me get the door." The knocks started again, Destiny nodded and let go of my sleeve as I got up, opening the door for Harper.

"How is she?" Harper walked over to her best friend. Kneeling beside the bed.
"I'm awake," Destiny whispered so quietly I was weirded out I could hear her.
"How do you feel?" Harper went on.
"My head is spinning, but I'm no longer a holy trinity." She moaned the word, followed by a pained laugh at her own joke.
"Hey Des,"
"Yeah"
"I'm still not catholic." I laughed myself at Harper's response to Destiny's very bad joke.
"Yeah, I know." She laughed then winced, without thinking I rushed over.

"Hey Des, just stay down, you're going to be fine." Harper backed away but I wasn't quite sure why.
"Alex, what's wrong with me?" She turned her head to look at me.
"Nothing, you're going to be fine, you just hit your head." I tried to keep my voice calm.

Destiny nodded and gripped my arm again, pulling me closer to the side of the bed. I gave into my gut, gripping Destiny in a hug that could kill. She hugged me back just as tight, a silent sob shook my body. I'm just glad she's okay. Thank god she's okay. A few tears slip from my eyes, wetting the shoulder of Destiny's shirt. She ducked her head into the crook of my neck, and we just sat there for 10 minutes.

When I finally let go, her face was red with tears, leaving the salty water on my neck. I'm not quite sure why either of us were crying but I didn't really care. She was safe, we were safe. I wiped on last tear away from her cheek, giving a small smile. I forgot Harper was in the room until she cleared her throat.

I laughed a little nervously. I only stopped when I felt my phone ring in my back pocket. Slowly I walked over to the other side of the room, Caller ID Mom. That can't be good.

"Hey Mom."
"Alex honey, it's your father,"
"What's wrong with him?" My voice cracked.
"He's in the hospital."
"I'll meet you there." I quickly hung up the phone. I turned towards the girls, fear shaking my body.

Author note/notice

Hey y'all,
Sorry about the really short chapter. I just really wanted to write Destiny waking up from Alex's perspective but I didn't want to write two perspectives in one chapter. It will go back to Destiny's POV in the next chapter.

Okay hope y'all have a good day/week/year/life,
Annabeth G. Kelly
