I sat in the car with my head on my hands, knees pulled up to the edge of the seat.
I stared blowing a piece of hair that was in front of my face. Then I stared to tap my foot on the floor. Then went on to mess with my necklace.

"Would you stop that, your making me nervous." Thorne flicked his head to look at me while he said it.
"Sorry." I straighten out so my back is against the back of the seat.
"The two are like a married couple."
"Thanks G really appreciate it." I roll my eyes, "I'm gonna step out for a sec."

I closed the door to the Jeep the walk over to the curb. I heard the cars race by on highway. My head buzzed then stopped, the buzzed again because of how quick each car came and went. My skirt would blow in wind thank god for leggings, I feel like I looked to nice to spend the day in the car. I stared walking up and down the parking lot.

Why would he pick Swine flu, something we have a perfect vaccine for. Over something like COVID-19 something that six years ago killed half of the world population. With a vaccine that's barely two years old. Or did he chose it so people would notice. The four horseman were mystery's of the lord, and a mystery they are.

What makes the lease amount of sense is why we have only stared to notice the horseman now. Were they always there or did someone break the seals recently. It would make sense if they have always been here, I man WW1 and WW2 obviously but other things like the Vietnam war. As for plague he dates further in the past with the Black Death, influenza, Ebola, COVID, and 100 more diseases. As for famine, things like the Irish potato famine, and even things like Woodstock with the 'hunger' for peace.

After that little self preservation I walked back to the curb next to the Jeep. When a ladybug landed on me.

"Okay what you got for us Zo." And in a small flash of green Zoey was sitting next to me.
"We should get a hotel this is bad." My eyebrows became one as I slammed the Jeep door shut.

"Drive Hilton Richmond right off of route 70, about a mile behind us." Thorne put the car in gear and did as I said.
"You want to tell us what the hell is going on." I turned in my seat to see Georgia.
"Zoey said we need a hotel, because it's and a quote 'bad' she said we should meet at the Hilton."

We pulled up and parked side by side. The sun had already started to set.

"Hi miss can we have four room all doubles."
"Sure thing hun, name for the payment?"
"Richard T. Diaz" Thorne said handing over his bank card.

As we walked away I just had to ask, "Richard??"
"Shut up." He handed me a keycard for mine and Harper's room. We all followed Zoey up to her room with Sam, same sleeping arrangements as last time.

"Okay so what's so bad." I rushed the words as soon as the door clicked shut behind me.
"You know all of the people you said Pestilence might be,"
"Yeah where is this going?" I hung on the words trying to figure out what she was trying to say.
"They're all one person, and they are also the person who is in charge of toy sales for that dumb ambulance toy." I took a sharp breath in following Zoey's words. Holding my breath I stared to count, trying to process the words she was telling us.

I remembered that with War you had to kill him with his own weapon. What was the weapon plague well Pestilence carried, except he didn't carry a weapon. I checked my watch. 10:30.
"SHIT!"
"Des what?" Harper's voices was shaking because I broke the silence in such a dramatic way.
"It's just we have been sitting here not saying anything for near three hours, I going to bed we can pick this up tomorrow." I slipped out the door, and walked as quietly as I could to the elevator with Harper. The two of us were the only ones not on this floor.

I hung up my small side strap bag on a chair, next to a sad excuse for a table. I crawled into the bed on the left hoping I didn't have to think about what comes next.
