By the time we were back to the clubroom it was almost 2 am so, we just slept in Alex's car.  That was quite the surprise when Thorne woke up but he didn't say anything. Thank god. I went back to the dorm and tried to have a normal day, the thing about saving the world for spring break you don't really have much to do on your off days.

It was mostly coffee and a journal report from school. We have to write in detail what we did over break so we know how to take 'proper entry's' for an excavation journal. Which is really hard when you need to have a secret second life, but I work around it. Most of the day was Luna just being a pain in the ass, how I spend more time with my mysterious friends. I said if she wanted to meet them she could but very quickly she declined.

I reorganized my dorm, moving the whole room around. It wasn't much but it was better than before. The dorm is pretty small. Two bed, one bath, and in the middle a kitchen and sitting room. That was the whole place. Mine and Luna's bedrooms contend with the bathroom, so there was three doors in my room. One to the kitchen one to the bathroom and one to a sad excuse of a closet.

After that two hours, I gave in. I stared looking for signs of Death out in the world. Be far they hardest Horseman to track down, mostly because everyone dies. But we had to stop this. Even though I still don't know this was, is? This is. There were no place with high death rates. At least not in the radius of the other three horseman. I had to find him.

I looked back at the torn pages of the Bible spread before me. The book of revelation still my main source of information, though Christian translation sights have been a huge help. He was said to have a pale green horse and sunken eyes, draped in a black toga. Maybe he worked at a Toyota company instead of a toga and drove an ugly green car.
No that's beyond a stretch, that's just crazy.

After a while I stoped trying to find death and stared trying to found out about death.

Death was always the perfect neutral. Never had a side, one view. Everyone dies whether today or 50 years from now. He could usually be persuaded into making deals. Not to mention killing death would really fuck with the balance of life. If I could persuade death into a deal, I could get his scythe. Then again I have no clue what he would want in return so that's like a really bad idea. I thought of everything, I think wrote down the two dumbest ideas and two smartest. Then hoped in the car.

By the time I was at the clubroom it was quarter till 10. Thorne should be awake. I checked the window. Okay no naked girls, no naked guys and no one was sleeping I was good to go in. I clicked the door open, to which Thorne's response was to hold a shotgun to my chest.

"Really. I mean come on Thor who else can just walk in here like that.?" Rhetorical questions and sarcasm are totally my best friends.
"Yeah fair enough," he sighed and sat back down. "What's up?"

"Call me a workaholic all you want, but I have some thoughts on what to do about death."
He groaned. "Okay lay it on me."

"Okay so best plan, Sam goes invisible and me and Harper create a distraction allowing Sam to steal deaths weapon of choice, and then kill him."
"The scythe yeah okay. And knowing you there's a worst plan."
"We make a deal with death." I say slowly so he could comprehend. I seen enough TV that even the devil was less brutal with deals then Death.

"That's beyond stupid, but I guess it is a last resort." I nod, because it really is. But something tells me we might need to do it.

Throne checks the clock, "it's past ten Des, you can stay here for the night. It's probably safer than going back to your place."
"Yeah, yeah okay."

I ended up brushing my teeth with my finger since I didn't plan on staying. I called Alex, and Harper's whole dorm to get the hell over here but it still took an hour. I heard the slam of Harper's busted truck doors. I walked over to the door and quickly opened it.

"What if I wasn't Me Des?" Harper asked extraordinarily sarcastically as she walked through the door.
" I sure hope a criminal wasn't stupid enough to steal your beat up car, because no one wants to drive that but you." I twist my head and walk away from the door so she gets the message.

Thorne and I went over the plan to the best of our ability. How Seb would have to fly around and Survey the scene. And we still have you know find Death.

Harper crossed her arms over her midriff. "So you're saying we have a plan to kill Death but not one to find Death?"
"Uhh, yeah." I let the word come out with just a touch of annoyance.
"Well let's find him." Zoey states ending Harper and mine's stare down. Dramatically sitting down and pulling her laptop out.

"What could we even be looking for?" Beck sat down next to Zoey leaning over to see the computer screen. Zoey stared typing, the clicking calling me in my head. Then the sink was screaming, then the table talking. Everything in the room wanted the spotlight. I was losing some control on my powers as I stood here, something was wrong, really wrong.

I rand out the door covering my ears, it wasn't until I was at my car that I could hear Harper's footsteps, then she was in front of me in the blink of an eye. I stared to slow my breathing, holding my breath here and there. I no longer heard the now unfamiliar buzzing of items and objects. I slid down to the ground back against my car.

"WHAT THE HELL, Des what just happened?" Harper started out yelling slowly bring her voice down as she got closer to me.
"I..I don't know." I took a breath still trying to steady my airflow. "One minute I was fine the next I lost all control on everything, all the noises I had learned to block out just came flooding back, and I just don't know."

Harper thought for a sec, "Are you pregnant?"
"WHAT NO, what the hell?"
"Okay just making sure, so what have made that happen?" I looked over at her fear still coursing throughout my veins. I had one thought, maybe just maybe. I was touched by death.
"Death."
