I wake up next morning to the sound of shuffling. I see Tessa attempting to head to the kitchen without making any noise but failing desperately. She notices me waking up and apologises quietly. I give her thumbs up signal motioning that it's alright. I head to the kitchen behind her to have a glass of water. God, it was a long night yesterday. My heart takes a leap as I remember his words last night, and the dare.
"How are you feeling?" I go to Tessa and hug her.
"Much better. Talking to Sheldon helped." She says and smiles.
"So, you guys are friends now?"
"Probably, seeing that he knows a big part of my life now. And... he isn't as bad as I thought he was." She says timidly.
"He isn't bad at all. You just need to give him time. I'm sorry you had to go through that though. You don't deserve any of it."
"It's fine. Don't apologize about it. You didn't do anything. Anyways, it is in the past. And I am hungry."
"Let's wake everyone up and then go for breakfast."
I hear some shuffling in the hall and decide to get some Advil and water for everyone. Tessa understands my movements and goes and gives one to Anna. Almost at the same time, Sheldon wakes up and I pass him the glass of water and Advil.
I take a glance at Shane, who is still sleeping clutching the bottle in his hands as if it's a teddy bear. I gently take that away from him because there is a chance he might accidently break it and get hurt.
"Sheldon?" I call out to him.
"Yeah."
"Listen, we're going to our hotel room. How about breakfast in 30 minutes?"
"Yeah, I'll wake Shane up and we'll meet you at the hotel in 30 minutes. I know a really nice place nearby, we can go there."
---------------------
After having a relaxing bath back at the hotel, everyone is back to their spirits and currently we are waiting for Shane and Sheldon to show up.
I see them coming in after a few minutes and my heart, obviously, involuntarily skips a beat when I look at Shane. He is wearing a simple grey full-sleeve sweater and black pants, not to mention his messy hair and his face clearly emitting his obvious hangover, but damn! He looks fine. Ugh! Stop.
I clear my thoughts as they approach us.
"Let's go." Tessa says once they're here.
After 5 short minutes, we're sitting at a secluded booth near the corner of the café. It's a really nice café, with a nice homely vibe to it. We order our respective dishes and a few minutes later, they're here.
Shane is sitting right in front of me and groans for the fourth time before putting his hands on his face and then running a hand through his hair. Cute! I am still reeling in my thoughts when his voice brings me back to the world.
"God! I drank a lot last night. Ugh! And I clearly shouldn't have. How many did I have?"
"Oh, not much at all. Only like 5 or 6 bottles." Tessa mocks him and laughs.
"Not funny!!!" he complains like a little kid which makes me laugh. He looks at me and passes me an absolutely adorable smile. God, am I in deep shit!?
"How you feeling, Tess?" Sheldon tells Tessa. We're close enough to call her Tess, I notice.
"Much better. Thank you. But guys, let's not talk about it please. I want no recollections of last night. Let's just have a good time today before we leave." She says and smiles. I couldn't agree more.

*Tessa' POV*
Everyone smiles at me and we go back to our breakfast. I absolutely love the food here, I wish I could marry food. It'll be the best thing in the world. We finish our food and I go to the counter to pay. Sheldon catches up to me and doesn't let me pay.
"No. my treat. I clearly said that."
"Fine! I don't want you to punch me, so I'll let you pay."
"Good boy."
"Hey! Don't call me that." I laugh at how childish he is. I shake my head and pay for the food.
"Hey. Thank you for last night. It really means a lot to me."
"Don't worry about it." he says and smiles at me. God! That smile. It's such an adorable smile. You can clearly see the care in his eyes and the way his eyes crinkle up at the edges is so precious. Tessa! Stop. You're not going there, girl. We aren't doing that again.
"Come on, or the others will leave without us." I tell him.
He gasps and puts his hand on his chest like a girl.
"They wouldn't dare." He says in a squeaky voice and I laugh so hard, there are tears coming out of my eyes.
"Alright. It wasn't that funny, come on." He rolls his eyes, trying to look angry, but the grin on his face gives him way.
"Let's go!" I imitate his squeaky voice and we catch up to the others outside the café, still laughing. This was a rather nice turn of events...
