*Tess's POV*
"Let's go hide." I tell Sheldon and we run to the place I already chose for me. I reach there and I see Ben sitting there, much to his amusement. Dick-head.
"Hey! I said I was hiding here." I whisper shout to him.
"Sorry, babe. Place is already taken." He snickered knowingly. He always knew how to push my buttons. Knowing somebody since you were toddlers has its own disadvantages too, especially when he is an egocentric jerk.
"A, don't call me babe and B, I will get you back for this." I say and think for a moment when an idea comes to me. "I will tell Anna you were flirting with Melissa the other day." I smirk triumphantly, with Sheldon still next to me, confused as ever.
"I was not! She flirted with me, I tried to push her away. Tessa Evans I will kill you if you fill Anna's head with that crap." He whisper shouted. Before I could say anything Sheldon jumped in on the conversation.
"Sort it out later. He's here." He said with an edge in his voice and pulled me into another corner. Huh, this was better than what I had thought. We were perfectly hidden and yet, we could see everything perfectly.
I turned around to see Shane just entering the gym room and I sighed in relief when Sheldon wrapped his arms around my waist and rest his chin on my shoulder. He seemed to like doing that a lot lately, I thought to myself and laughed.
"You just cannot live without me, can you?" I whispered and snickered.
"No, I can't." I was taken aback by him admitting it. We were used to making fun of each other, even after I daringly kissed him at the hospital and he proposed to me afterwards. Life had been nothing short of heaven since that day, and I was never more grateful for my bold personality than that very day.
"Why did he call you babe?" Sheldon whispered in my ear and I could sense his jealousy and anger from his voice. So that was what the edge in the voice was for. It was for Ben. The shit deserves it, I think and smile.
"He knows everything about Harry. After I got over all the relationship stuff, he liked to push my buttons and call me that. He knows how much it used to irritate me. But, don't worry he is crazy after Anna. Everyone knows that."
"Tell him to stop calling you that." He says and gruffs in annoyance.
"Aww, come on. You know I love you." I say and turn my head to the side to kiss his cheek. I don't blame him for the anger though.
"Whatever. Tell him you have a boyfriend now. Tell him to fixate on Anna, not my girlfriend." He says and I can sense the annoyance going away from his voice.
"Are we getting possessive now?" I say and smirk, trying to lighten the mood.
