Chapter 8: 𝔀𝓻𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓶𝓸𝓿𝓮

Y/N's POV

It's currently 1pm and I'm getting my hair and makeup done for my party. Until now I really couldn't believe I actually gave myself to her but I don't regret anything and now I'm ready to say I love her.

"Ms. Anderson, Maihua is here to see you" my assistant said as she opened the door that reveals Maihua. "M-maihua, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to go here at 5?" I asked in a confused manner because we talked about seeing each other an hour earlier before the event but it seems she's too excited.

"Can I talk to you privately?" She asked and she seemed serious which got me worried. I sent my glam team out first. "Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Y/N please come with me and leave everything behind" She said and my eyes got teary. "W-why? What's wrong?" I asked.

"I love you Y/N so please go with me" She asked "why all of a sudden?" I asked "because we can't be together, your father doesn't like me for you" She said.

"But Maihua we can change his mind and prove to him he is wrong, we don't have to run away" I said "I'm leaving now Y/N" she said which made me freeze.

What the hell is going on and she wants to leave all of a sudden, I love her and I really do but I can't just turn my back on my family. It's just that Maihua seems determined to leave and even if I don't go with her she will still leave.

"Maihua I can't come with you" I answered "please" she said and started tearing up aswell. "I will... only if you explain to me why" I demanded.

"I can't" She answered "and I also can't" I answered back but she seemed very troubled. "Then I'll leave without you" it took a moment for her to say that.

"Why do you really have to leave?" I questioned her "it's the only other way I know I could protect you" She said "from what?" I asked and looked her in the eye but she looked away.

"I can only protect you if you leave everything but since you won't then I'll just have to go far away, far from you" She said.

"Why?" I asked "I'm going" she said as she turned around "wait" I said before she opened the door. "I'll come with you, Let's just finish this party" I said.

"No just forget it" she said "what are you serious??" I asked "yes just uninvite me" She said "why are you like this" I asked very confused.

"C-cause...... cause I'm tired of you" She said and i felt speechless "Um tired because I'm the only one fighting for you but you never did for me" she said.

"I have been fighting for us Maihua" I said "there's no 'us' Y/N" she said. "But Maihua I love you" I said "and I don't" she answered.

"But I thought you love me..... remember? You just said that awhile ago" I said "well I lied because I don't" she defended "I'm leaving already and j-just forget about me" she said and turned around again.

"No Maihua you're not leaving" I said, "Just look at me and tell me you don't want me anymore" I said and she turned to look me in the eye and said "I don't want you anymore"

That was cold of her and I didn't expect it from her cause I thought she cared. "After that night? After that night that I gave my virginity to you, I gave everything to you, now you'll say you don't want me??" I asked.

"Yes I don't want you and now that I'm leaving let me just tell you to never trust anyone again" She said "why will I listen to you after this?" I asked she just stared at me.

"You know what just leave......a-and never show your face" I said and she did, she slammed that door in my face while I'm here in this room alone and broken.

The door opened and somehow I hoped it was Maihua changing her mind but how stupid of me obviously it's my assistant. "Ms. Anderson, we need to finish your hair and makeup" She said.

"Right and just please my eye makeup it kinda got sweaty here" I said and made up an excuse for getting my makeup ruined because of these useless tears.

"Hey Y/N" My dad said as he entered "dad" I said with a sad tone " is everything okay?" He asked "yeah...... and you know you're right" I said "right about what?" He asked "Maihua is not right for me" I said.

"Why is that?" He asked "you don't need to know but as of now I uninvited her" I said "okay then I'll update the security team" He said and walked out.

Deep inside I feel hurt and now I'm starting to regret everything, I just wanna die right now but I can't, my parents will be devastated.

There's more in life than just Maihua, but she is my life and it's a mistake, I should have never made her my life.

Maihua's POV

I just entered the house and looks like my uncle had heard of what I did. "Why did you do that?" My uncle asked "it's the only way I could protect her from you" I answered.

"Have you forgotten they are the reason why you're father is dead" He said "Her father is the reason not her, she is not her father" I explained.

"She is our key to her father" He said "it's not gonna work and if ever lay a hand on her I won't forgive you" I threatened him. "Don't threaten me, everything you have now and everything you know came from me so don't you dare betray us again" He said.

He walked out and now AP is here "it doesn't mean you left her we wouldn't be able to get her" AP said "without me you can't get there" I said.

"I knew this would happen so I told your uncle to make a plan b and that is me, she invited me too Maihua" AP said and smirked at me before she left.

Still I'm not allowing you to touch her. I went to my room to get changed and once I finished I decided to go downstairs but I couldn't open my bedroom door.

I knew exactly that it was my uncle's plan to lock me up here so that they could get to that party. I have a gun in my room if my uncle isnt that stupid he would know better than to lock me up here.

I shot the door knob so I was able to get out "Maihua, you're uncle told us to never let you out" One of the guards told me. "I don't give a shit about what my uncle says" I said, I had to put down every guard in this house just to get out.

I'm rushing just to get over the venue of Y/N's party, I have to stop my uncle's plan. As soon as I got there I had to sneak and look for Y/N.

Y/N's POV

I excused my self from the party for a few minutes since it was already time to serve the food no one would notice that I'm gone.

I'm headed to the comfort room when someone grabbed my hand and covered my mouth, the person brought me at the back of the building.
