Chapter 15: 𝓰𝓸𝓸𝓭 𝓪𝓽 𝓫𝓪𝓭

A/N: Hey guys! I just wanted to say that I added something in Chapter one and that is Y/N's parents' names. Writing this chapter I just realized I didn't give them their first names so if you guys don't wanna go back to check out chapter one, here are their names, Robert Anderson as Y/N's Dad and Iris Anderson as Y/N's Mom.

Maihua's POV

"Mom, can you just please give them back the house. It's just a house" I argued with my mom. "They deserve to suffer" Donna said.

"Why do you have to defend them Maihua? Is it because of that Y/N??" Gaonha asked. "Yes because I love Y/N and I don't see a reason why they should suffer" I said looking at Gaonha and mom.

"Maihua do you even know what Y/N's mother did to me?" Donna asked and I shook my head.

"She-"

"Just don't! I don't wanna hear anything, just give them back their house" I cut her off.

"She was my Best Friend Maihua!" Donna forcefully said and I was left speechless. "I'm just gonna head out" Gaonha said as she stood up.

"She was my best friend and she knew I liked Robert, they got really close Maihua so I asked for her help, Robert fell in love with me but my parents didn't approve" Donna explained.

"We migrated and I found out Iris and Robert were dating, Maihua I'm his First love" Donna continued. "I came back for him but the they were already married" Donna added.

"How did you have an affair with him?" I asked "he wanted another baby but Iris can't carry another one so I took advantage of the situation" she replied.

"You're crazy" I said and she rolled her eyes, "so what? Is this your revenge?" I asked and she nodded.

"Well I learned that revenge is never a good solution" I said "it's because you were taking revenge on the wrong people" She said and I gave her a 'what do you mean' look.

"Robert didn't kill Maison, it was your uncle" My mom said and feel confused. Why would uncle do that?? Maison is his brother, there's no way he could have possibly done that.

"Your uncle envied you're father, Maison grew up with their father while your uncle didn't and most of all, I married your father not your uncle" Donna said.

Well this just keeps getting better, doesn't it? Seriously??? I never knew my uncle actually has something for my mom.

Worst of all is he used me but it was him all along. I trusted him, helped him, and forgave him and this is what I get??

"Your Uncle is a bad person Maihua" Donna added, "well he's good at being bad" I said and she nodded to agree with me.

"Look I'm sorry about you and Iris but taking revenge will not bring back Mr. Anderson, you will never feel contented even if you see them suffer, they will be happy having each other" I explained and walked out.

I decided to call my uncle to confront him but no one is answering, I guess he changed his phone number. I called AP instead, maybe she knows his new phone number.

It took awhile before she answered "hello? AP?" I asked as no one from the other line is talking.

"Oh uhm.... Hey Maihua...." She spoke in between breaths "AP? Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Who's that?" I heard a girl's voice in the background from the other line, "H-hey Maihua I'll just call you back okay?" She said and ended the call. I guess I interrupted something.

    

"I'm sorry to hear that" Y/N said as she sat beside me "it's not your fault" I replied. "What do you plan on doing about it though?" Y/N asked.

"I'm sure my mom will do something about him" I replied and Y/N leaned on me. We were watching when I felt like I needed to use the bathroom so I had to excuse myself.

Y/N's POV

Maihua stood up to use the bathroom, I paused the movie and brought our glasses and plates to the kitchen, I don't wanna leave them lying around there.

I heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen and it was probably Maihua.

"Y/N Anderson"

It wasn't Maihua and when I turned around to see who it is, it's Maihua's uncle. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Does Maihua know you're here?" I asked and he chuckled. "Y/N because of you my plan was ruined" he started.

"Because you and your family stole everything" He said. "You might be mistaken" I said. "Because of you and your lies, you lost the trust of the people around you, you envied your brother which started all of this mess, don't blame everything on me" I said.

"You know nothing" He said with anger in his tone "that's what Maihua told me and that's what Donna told Maihua" I replied trying to stay calm as he held out a knife.

I was at the other side of the kitchen so he couldn't reach me if he tried to do something. "Mr. Lee, you are under arrest" An officer said that entered the kitchen.

I felt relieved when I saw Maihua, "you'll pay for everything" Maihua said as the officers brought Mr. Lee our of the apartment.

I hugged Maihua and I felt her kiss my forehead. "I brought him here, I'm sorry if he scared you" Maihua said. "Next time, tell me if you have plans like this so I wouldn't feel like I'm about to die" I said and she kissed me.

We were kissing passionately as she put me on top of the kitchen counter. I pulled out from the kiss and rested my forehead on hers.

"We just had sex last night" I said in joking manner, "2 nights in a row?" She asked and I shook my head.

"We need a rest" I said as I went off the counter and dragged Maihua back to the living room. "Let's continue the movie, please?" I asked giving her a puppy face.

"Fine" she said and gave me a peck on my lips and hugged me from the back. After everything that has happened, I'm happy I have Maihua right now, I thought to myself.

I love her so much, I know I need her in my life. I can't imagine living without her, without the touch of her hand, I can't feel cherished.
