Emily and I were at the mall walking past the stores budding through crowds.

"Let's go to the music store." I insisted.

"We go there every time. There's nothing good there anyway."

"What are you talking about? There's so many amazing things." I responded.

She rolled we eyes and we walked in. I made a bee-line to the metal section.

"If they don't have the album I need I'm gonna Break Stuff." I made a band refrence jus to annoy her.

"Oh no. Don't go on another band refrence episode." She sighed

"The Toxicity in you is just making this a Disasterpiece. So if you're gonna be a Freak, make sure you're On A Leash."

"Okay, okay. I'll help you find whatever you need. Just stop. You do this too much." She pleaded. "Now what do you need?" She asked.

"I need Heaven And Hell to complete my Black Sabbath collection. I can't find it in any store." I answered.

"Ew. I don't understand why you're so fascinated by metal." She sneered. I glared at her.

"You know my parents. They're huge metalheads. I grew up with it." She rolled her eyes. "When I find this album we're going back to my house and we will sit on my bed. No talking. We will just sit there until this godly album is over." I declared.

A boy then walked over to us. He handed me the Heaven And Hell album. I looked at him confused.

"I ended up over hearing your conversation and realized that I just bought the last copy. And so I want you to have this, and to finish your collection."

He had a mixture of Iowan and New York accent. But the New York overpowered it a little.

"Y-you don't have to do this, but thank you. I have money I'll pay you back." I started to reach for my money.

"No, you don't need to pay me back with money. But a date would be wonderful though." He assured. "Maybe Saturday?" He handed me his number.

"Yeah. That'd be great, I'll text you my address." I agreed.

My knees felt weak. He went back behind the counter smiling. Emily and u walked out of the store and went to the food court. We got food and sat down. She slapped me across the face.

"Do you have any idea who that was!?" She whisper-yelled. I shook my head no. "That was Jake Gander!" It then hit me.

"Oh my god! It is!" I gasped. I thought for a second. "I'll be right back. Stay here."

I ran back to the music store. I stood outside the store for a second collecting my words. I walked in. I went up to the the shelf he was organizing.

"Uh hi. It's me again." I greeted.

"Oh hi pretty woman. It's nice to see you again. What do you need?" He responded.

"This is gonna come out really weird, but it just hit my friend and I. But do you happen to be Jake Gander?" I felt so awkward.

"Um... yes. But how would you know that? I didn't tell you my name." He was clearly confused and concerned.

"I'm Cody Lembert. Remember in sophomore year we did a school project together... kinda." I elaborated.

"Oh shit, I knew you looked familiar. Sorry about bailing on that project." He apologized.

"It's no worries. It's just realkt nice to see you again. I hope this doesn't ruin our date." I responded.

"Not at all. In fact, it makes it a little better." He assured.

"Gander! Stop flirting and get back to work!" A man demanded.

"Shit, sorry for distracting you. See you Saturday." I apologized running out.
