Later on that day there was a small knock on my door.

"Come in."

Jake then walked into my room, closing the door behind him. It didn't matter. There was a giant ass hole in my door anyway. I didn't look up. I was sitting on the edge of my bed looking down.

He sat down next to me. I fell into his arms and just cried. He stroked my hair. I felt safe in his arms. I never wanted to leave them. He kissed my head.

"I'm such an idiot." I cried.

"No you're not. Why would you say that about yourself?"

"Because I said shit I didn't mean and ran away. I went somewhere where I knew I shouldn't of been. And... Didn't leave in time." I explained.

"What do you mean? What happened?" He asked.

"I went to my uncle's because he wouldn't of told my parents I was there, or anything. But I didn't leave in time. And he...." I stopped there. He got the idea.

"That's absolutely disgusting! He belongs in prison!" He hissed. He hugged me tighter. "Don't ever blame yourself for that. He's an awful person. And you just didn't know." He assured. "Now what made you run away?"

Fuck. I assumed they would've told him. Goddammit.

"My parents didn't want me around you. And so I ran away." I confessed. "I didn't want them to take you away from me."

"Don't run away just to stay with me. I'm nothing special." He implied. I hugged him tight.

"It's been way past 5 minutes!" My mom called out from the other room.

"What does she mean?" I asked.

"Your told me I can stay for 5 minutes." He explained.

"What? Where's my dad?" He shrugged.

"Well I should probably get going now. Sorry." He apologized.

"Can I see you tomorrow?" I asked.

"Of course. As long as it's okay with your parents. I don't want you coming over then getting in trouble." I nodded my head yes. He gave me a kiss and left.

"Apologies Mrs. Lembert." I heard him say. I waited for the front door to close before leaving my room.

"5 minutes?" I sneered.

"Well clearly over 5 minutes now." She rolled her eyes. Dad then walked in.

"You gave him 5 minutes!? He was worried sick, and wanted to make sure I was okay! And you gave us 5 minutes!?" I was honestly pissed.

"What happened? What are you talking about?" My dad asked.

"Jake just left, and when he came over mom gave us 5 minutes to talk!" I announced.

"What?" My dad was in disbelief too.

"Well he stayed for much longer than 5 minutes." She sneered. I went to my room and sat behind my door pouting. I listened to them.

"I left for an hour, and you do that?!" He hissed. "Did you not listen to a word I said this morning?!"

"I think I know what's best for our daughter." She implied. "And where the hell are you going again?"

"I'm a grown man. I think I can go wherever I want without permission." I then heard the front door slam.

I didn't know what to do. I wanted to stay in my room. I didn't want to be anywhere around her. I got on my laptop and started looking up apartments. I counted my money. I got enough. Hell yeah.

It was eventually dark out by the time my dad got home. I put my ear against my door listening to them again. I heard him slam something down on the table. I slowly came out of my room to see what was happening.
