- Back to Isabella's P.O.V. now. -

"Damien!" I looked for a sign of life, but all I got was a weak beating heart. "No!"

I woke up from the coma when I felt something pulling at my heart. When my eyes flew open I saw Damien fighting with a demon losing. And now I was about to lose him.

The doctor came up behind me and I moved out of the way. Taking Damien's pulse quickly, the doctor moved him to a spare bed and started sticking IVs into his arm. I moved to the other side of the bed watching. "Damien... He would die for me..." I held his hand.

"It's hard to tell if he will make it, his condition is worse than yours." I could only cry in response.

"Damien's a fighter, he will pull through." I had only known him for days but it felt like a lifetime.

When I looked in his eyes, he reminded me of someone I once knew. The eyes were same color they had always been. Was he part of my past that I had been forced to forget?

My eyes lit up for the first time in a week. "I need to see someone. They know how to heal someone this."

"Okay, before you take off we'll get you checked over and cleared." The doctor was still trying to get Damien to a stable state.

"I hope he will be okay when I'm gone." He didn't look so good, his skin was pale, and his breathing was slow. "He's gonna be in extreme pain when he wakes up."

"We'll take care of him and make sure that he doesn't die on us before you come back." He turned and walked over to my side, he took a quick look over me. "I just have to clear you then I can let you go find them."

"The sooner the better." I agreed to follow the doctor down the hall. We stepped in a small private room and he quickly did a few tests. After about 2 hours of waiting, I was free to go.

Before leaving to visit someone, I changed into a t-shirt, my favorite jacket, a pair of new jeans to replace my old ripped ones, and my sneakers. I felt normal again for once.

In the race against the clock, I teleported home and ran up to the guest room Alric was staying in. But he was not home. He had left a note on the kitchen counter saying he was going out shopping if anyone needed him. If only he had a cell phone, but he didn't work that part of human life out yet, and he had no intentions of getting a cell phone. I was working on convincing him still.

Discouraged, I left a note saying I was going into the Celestial Realm and I would be gone for a few days. I told him to keep an eye out on Damien who is in critical condition, and to come find me if something needed my attention asap. Signing the note with my name I left it with the other note. I then enchanted it so that a human couldn't just walk in and read it, to them it would appear as a blank piece of paper.

I went up to my room to find some supplies. I grabbed some money along with my emergency credit card in case, and some dry food that would make the trip. I made sure my pendant was under my shirt and zipped my jacket on. Stopping by my sister's room I grabbed her sword from its case and left the house.

The cold weather didn't help the fact that my car wouldn't start. Abandoning the idea of driving I teleported into a dark alley downtown so no one would notice me. I walked out and looked for the specific store.

The bell above the door rang when I entered. I had been in there several times for curiosity, but never bought anything before. The isles were full of magikal stuff like jars of eyeballs, some colorful powders in containers, and a few dark colored potions in vials. Then there were the potion and spell books, and that occupied a good third of the store. I reached the section I wanted to most, the cloaks. I needed one to cross, if I didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb. I looked over all my choices, and found the one from my dreams. I picked up the cloak and felt it in my hands, made of black velvet, and a durable winter cloak. The clasp looked like a small trinket. I also picked up a few potions and vials incase I needed them if I got sick. I also found a map of the realms and a satchel to hold all my new belongings in. The total came to $341, and if my foster mom noticed that purchase she would kill me. I loaded the satchel and after I slipped the cloak over my head. Now that I was fully ready I would cross soon.

Before I left, I asked the store keeper, "Where can I cross into the Celestial Realm? I need to get there asap."

"The fastest route is the portal in the forest near the shop since this shop is near the end of town." Before I could thank him he turned around and grabbed some candy out of a jar, tossing them at me, "Take these. You'll need them once you cross."

I looked at the wrapped candies in my hand, "What are these?" I played with the small things in my hand.

"You don't need to know kiddo, just when you feel sick, pop one in and you'll be good to go for a few hours." He returned to what he was doing.

"Thank you," I left the small shop and
wrapped the cloak closer to my body.

I stood there. I didn't need to look up where the trees started. The wind was leading me to the forest, I followed it with caution. The forest looked like any other forest, but I could feel the magik from a mile away. Voices whispered my name in the forest. Branches littered the path I was following. Every now and then I heard a howl from the trees, wolves were near. The wind kept showing me the way to the portal.

With my sword against my back, I felt a little safer knowing I had a weapon. I had been training a little in swords in my free time, but my main weapon was dagger. And I couldn't even figure out how to use a bow or arrow. Daggers and swords were my weapon choice.

I kept walking until I entered a clearing where everything was peaceful. I knew nothing about the portals, but I felt this was the portal. The magik was strong in the area.

Now how did you physically teleport over to the realms. In my mind it was easy to do, but now it was little more complicated. I walked over to the circle made of small stones in the ground, surrounded by formations of stars and moons in pebbles. It was beautiful, I admired the design. Then stepped into the center.

I thought it wasn't working but a minute later I was teleported into a dark room. It smelled like dust and paper. I opened my eyes. There was a door in front of me with no handle, I imagined the handle and it appeared. Opening the door and letting it close behind me, I discovered I was in a massive library with a high ceiling and books were in shelves from the floor to the sky ceiling. A sign on the wall to the right told me I was in the Grand Magik Library. Creatures were playing from left to right looking for books and some people were reading books at tables.

If I wasn't in a rush I would of stayed and read the entire library. Starting to leave I turned around and headed toward the big fancy wooden doors with carvings painted gold when a voice stopped me.

"You!" I froze. Had someone noticed me? I bit my lip and hopes it wasn't one of Anna's spies. "Come over here," the voice ordered. I unwillingly turned around and headed to the voice.
