A/N- How're you guys? (I'm also writing this late so if it's bad, well yeah.)
T.W- bombing
Summary- When Peter's building collapses, and he is nowhere to be seen. Is that the end for him? Will Tony be able to accept the loss?
(Third Person P.O.V)
The explosion echoed throughout the streets. The once dark night lighting up with the electrifying light and the deafening screams peirce the cold air.
A bomb had been set off in an apartment building, making the whole thing explode into flames. People were running out of the building, screaming and crying in pain, both physical and mental.
Some were carried out all bloody but breathing. But others weren't so lucky.
The fire was now growing in strength, the bomb having been placed in the middle of the building, the fire spreading both ways. Engulfing everything in its path.
News cameras and people were all around, filming the horrendous scene and broadcasting to the rest of the world.
Over all of the chaos you could hear the sound of metal bound feet slam with incredible force into the road. Gasps were heard as the iron man suit stood there, with a seemingly frazzled billionaire in the metal weapon.
Tony couldn't lose his kid. Not after so long of fighting to keep him safe. This could not be the end for him.
His glazed eyes washed over everyone, the worry in his eyes growing with every person his eyes glance over that isn't Peter.
He knew he had to help the people, and just hope his kid will get out or Tony will find him.
"FRI, you got anyone?" The billionaire asks, trying hard to keep his voice from cracking under the emotion.
'I am afraid i can't detect anyone with the heat that is radiating. But there are people in there, that i can't pinpoint.' FRIDAY replies, with what sounded like sadness from the AI.
Tony takes a deep breath in, trying to hold back the wall that is not only keeping his emotions at bay but also the onslaught of tears threatening to spill from his suddenly ancient eyes. Eyes that have seen to much pain and suffering in their lifetime.
He looks to the building, then one last look around before shooting toward the crumbling building.
Person after person he found. But never once did he find Peter. He knew Peter was there though, he had been talking to the kid only minutes before it had happend.
He went to Peter's apartment, but all that was left was rubble and fire. Tony couldn't stop his heart from beating faster and tears to build in his eyes. He had to keep looking.

Peter had to keep moving, the heat was swarming him, trying desperately to steal him away from the world.
His lungs filled with smoke with every breath he took, almost strangling him with the pain it brought.
He was nearing the exit, his senses tingling stronger and stronger with every step he took.
He turned the corner when his hearing picked something up. Crying.
He knew he had to help, no matter what happened he had to help.
He followed the crying and came to a door. He coughs roughly as more smoke enters his already dying lungs.
He pushes the door down, ignoring the flames that lick his skin with clean precision.
He squints through the smoke and sees a small figure in the corner, crying.
"Hey, it's okay. I'm here to help okay." He croaks out as he steps forward. His voice rough from the heat and smoke.
A small girl lifts her head, ash covering her face, with tear stains running lines down her ash ridden face.
Within seconds the girl is beside him, clasping his legs as fear radiates off her in waves.
Peter picks her up, and she buries her head into his shoulder.
"What's your name." He asks, as he makes his way to the door. Very aware of the flames growing in size and his senses growing louder and louder.
"Lily." She says quietly.
Peter smiles and says, "It's nice to meet you Lily, i'm Peter. Do you know where your parents are."
They near the exit, and Peter can see the door that leads out, his senses now screaming.
"I don't know. Daddy said he was going to be back, and mummy went out." She says to him.
"We'll find them." Peter reassures her.
But as he reaches for the door the building starts to crumble around them.
-
Tony found as many as he could. Some parts were blocked off and he couldn't blast it down without risking the whole thing collapsing.
He had just landed and got out of his suit, praying his kid will come out.
"My daughter is still in there. Please help her." A woman shouts at the firemen, crying into her husbands shoulder.
Just as Tony was about to suit back up, the building begins to shudder.
The next thing everyone knows the building collapses, and Tony can't stop the tears from falling this time.
His hope has now vanished and his heart is broken. He lost his son.
The smoke bellows out, making people unable to see much.
Looking to where the building once stood though, a figure seems to rise from the ashes.
Tony sees and his heart slows, as his hands shake with anticipation.
Screams and shouts are drowned out, as he sees his kid walk out from the smoke. A little girl in his arms, with burns and ash covering him.
The parents run toward him and the child, Tony close behind.
They take the child from his arms, hugging her close and thanking Peter over and over again.
Tony runs to Peter, now unable to stop the tears as he holds Peter close to him.
"Please never do that to me again Petey. I can't deal with the stress." Tony says, holding his son tighter.
Peter laughs, his voice a little raw though. "I won't dad. I'm sorry." He replies.
Tony feels his heart grow with the fact he was called dad, and Peter doesn't seem to want to take it back either.
