Becoming a mother, was a magical, but the most painful experience Zorya ever had to put herself through. Her body became a temple, where a beautiful creature was growing, right under her tender heart, and she was counting the days when she will be able to meet and hold her beloved baby.
"Your father loves you, and I can't wait to hold you in my arms." Darius would whisper to her belly, as he held Zorya tightly trough the countless nights, when she was sad that her mother wasn't here to help her trough this experience.
But maybe, that was for the best, maybe Mira would feel ashamed when she saw how her daughter turned out to be in the land of unknown.
But the woman around Wlania, gave their best to be there for their Queen, especially Mary, her godmother, that would always bring her the most delicious meals and cakes.
"My Fairy godmother." Zorya would call her.
Zorya still managed to help the woman train, by forming a proper work-out routine for them, and giving them advices on how to practice fighting against each other. Of course, Avram and Jonah, were there to help as well because Zorya wasn't able to fight.
Snezika soon gave a birth, her pregnancy wan't easy as well, but she fought trough it for her beloved, little wolves. She gave birth to four wolves, but sadly, only two of them survived and they were never separating from their mother.
Once when Zorya was walking around the streets of Walnia, followed by woman, who were slowly becoming warriors, and who were leaving her side, the gypsy walked over to Zorya.
Beautiful woman, in her early forties, her face was covered with a colorful makeup, and her raven hair was so long, and nurtured, Zorya couldn't take her eyes of it. She wore a colorful dress, as well, she looked so strange to Zorya, with all that mess of colors, but yet so interesting.
"My beautiful, strong Queen, allow me to tell you your fortune, I do not seek for your gold, I promise you that." The gypsy said as the woman frowned at her.
"This gypsy never tells a true." Gwen warned Zorya.
"Let's move on, I believe our Queen is not interested." Mary said.
"No, allow her to speak, I desire to hear what she has to say, if it is true that she is not interested in any gold." Zorya said.
"In your eyes, I see that many battles await for you, you, my Queen shall stand proud and defend our holly kingdom against the demons from the very distant and unknown lands, who speak no language that is familiar to us, who shall have no mercy on Kievan Rus and Walnia, if they manage to defeat us." Gypsy said.
"That is nothing new, of course that our Queen will protect our land." Clara, one of the woman who used to mock Zorya long time ago answered.
"Tell me who is the ruler of these...Demons?" Zorya asked.
"The one who is made of iron, and yet, his name means the blacksmith." Gypsy answered, making a few of the woman laugh.
"Tell me gypsy, how many children am I going to have?" Zorya asked.
"You shall give birth to the same number of children, as the white she-wolf does, and her children shall be the protectors of your own children." Gypsy answered.
Zorya frowned, aware of the fact that Snezika gave birth not so long time ago, and almost nobody knew how many pups were born.
"Answer me one more question. How many pups were born from Snezika?" Zorya asked.
"As much as your own mother have, and as much as your mother lost." Gypsy answered.
Zorya felt her skin becoming pale, the words of the gypsy echoes of the gypsys words suddenly was louder than anything around her.
Nobody, except the people of Gora Nevskaya, knew that first child of Mira and Vadim, died as a baby from the illness. Just like Snezika, Mira lost two children-Yaropolk and the baby who was the first born, and two of Mira's children survived, Boris and Zorya.
"What do you mean?" Zorya asked.
"You know, My Queen, you are the only one who can understand my words. Remember them well, and be sure to protect us from the demons who will come." Gypsy said calmly.
"Tell me how!" Zorya ordered and the woman were surprised by her reaction.
"I am afraid I cannot tell you that my Queen, I am not a warrior." The gypsy said and bowed to Zorya before walking away.
"Wait! I order you to stop!" Zorya yelled after the Gypsy.
"Do you want us to stop her?" Mary asked.
"Go! Bring me the gypsy." Zorya ordered.
But nobody ever saw the gypsy woman again, it was like she disappeared. Zorya made everyone who was with her to promise that they will remain silent about what they heard.
Month, after a month, the big day soon came, the day that everyone expected with excitement. Everyone were praying for their Queen, and for her baby to be fine. Zorya always occupied minds and hearts of the people of Walnia.
The horrifying screams filled the castle, it was the time for Zorya to finally give a birth. Darius remained by her side along with doctors, holding her hand, and wiping the sweat that covered her face. After many hours, that seemed like centuries to Zorya, as every part of her being felt unimaginable pain, Zorya finally gave birth to the beautiful twins, a boy and a girl.
Zorya's body trembled after she won the most important battle in her life.
One of the babies was crying, and seemed healthy, while other baby remained silent.
Zorya felr shock take over her body, in that moment she could say so much prayers for for her other child, but her mind was blank.
"Please Lord, help our child." Darius whispered holding Zorya's hand tightly.
In a moment, that felt so painful, so heartbreaking because it could end so tragically, the other baby cried as well.
"Congratulations, you became parents of the healthy boy and a girl." One of the doctors told them.
Both Zorya and Darius felt their souls become peaceful, but still thrilled with happiness, after hearing those words.
"Let me hold them." Zorya barely managed to allow the whisper leave her lips that felt dry from the screaming.
And so, Zorya was given two beautiful, small babies in her arms, her babies, as gorgeous as the angels, she couldn't believe that she was their mother.
"I am so happy, they are so beautiful." Darius said kissing the foreheads of the each baby, he also seemed exhausted, of course, he couldn't help but to feel anxious about Zorya giving a birth, he wouldn't be able to survive losing her.
"My little wolves." Zorya whispered as the tear escaped her cheek.
In that moment, she knew that without a single doubt, she would give her life for them.
"The boy, we shall name Cyrus, after Cyrus The Warrior who established Kingdom of Walnia, because someday, he shall be as great man as he was." Darius said with a smile caressing the boy's cheek and then he looked at the baby girl taking her little hand in his own.
"And our girl, we can name Mira, after your mother, because someday, she is going to be as great woman as your mother is." Darius said.
Zorya watched her beloved husband with her tired eyes, admiring him, and falling in love with every word he spoke, knowing that he is going to be an amazing father to their children.
"I love you Darius, and I love our family so much. Their names shall be Cyrus and Mira." Zorya said.
And that is how prophecy of the gypsy was fulfilled, Zorya gave birth to two children, just like the white she-wolf.
