Watching as their home disappeared in flames, what was left from Walnias, began running to the mountains, leaving everything behind. Their home, their churches, their ancestors, everything will disappear, under the fire, when the invaders come. Walnia was no longer home, it was just a wasteland, where only dead could live, hiding under the ground, where nobody could hurt them, where they needed no food or water, where no winter or enemy could touch them.

The Walnians walked as if the devil was chasing them, trying to hide themselves into the depths of the mountains, praying that no enemy could find them there, praying not to caught alive.

"We can't walk any longer, the wounded are in pain, and everyone are devastated and tired." One of the man announced.

"If we don't find a place to hide, young man, they will haunt us like an animals, we cannot stop now." Darius answered, holding his wounds, trying to walk strong and proud.

"Darius, more people will die tonight if we don't stop. You need to rest, and someone to look after that wound." Zorya said.

"Just a little more, and then we can hide, and take a rest, trust me Zorya, everything is going to be alright." Darius whispered, trying to hide the pain in his voice.Zorya sighed, helping her husband walk for a bit more.

"I know the place where we can hide tonight." Zorya said.

When she was younger, she spent so many days, studying the forests and mountains of Walnia, searching for something that could remind her of Gora Nevskaya, and even after all these years, she knew the forests, she knew the nature, it was still her most important ally, even now, when she left abandoned by everything.

After a shorter walk, Zorya was able to lead her people further into the mountains, showing them a place where they could hide, and where wounded could be treated silently, without too much light, because they were still in danger, for the Mongols to find them.

And that is when King, Darius The Dark, finally allowed himself to fall down on his knees, in pain that his wounds were causing him, he finally allowed himself to show a sight of weakness, because his body wasn't able to take anymore, it was broken from all the years of fighting, from all the sacrifice that was made, from all the sorrow and happiness he had felt before.

"Your king, need help!" Zorya said, as her hands trembled, already covered in the blood of her beloved husband.

The medics immediately rushed to the fallen King, hoping that there is a hope for his life to be saved, hoping that they could be able to do something for him, and that is not too late. But as soon as they looked at his wounds, they gasped in surprise...

"My Queen...It is not possible for him to even be alive now..." One of them said.

"What do you mean? Help him! Save his life! That is an order!" Zorya said, refusing to believe that she could end up in this tragic reality without the one she loved so much.
