Zorya knew that she could not allow her daughter to fight Boris. Even if she was able to win, she could not allow her to carry the sin of murdering her own uncle, her own blood, no matter how rotten it was. Mira was young and so pure, or at least that was how Zora decided to see her. Her daughter is not going to participate in the unnecessary bloodshed caused by Boris and his determination to bring chaos to the lives of his family. This is not what Yaropolk would want, but Boris stopped mourning him a long time ago, and now there was just madness left in him.
-My wish was to find peace in the place I used to consider my home, and bury my sword forever, but peace was just not meant for me, I shall continue my fight, even if that is against my will.- Zorya said as her eyes became lost in the blue sky of Gora Nevskaya. It was so lon since she saw that breathtaking place, and now when she was finally there, she felt so lost, so alone.
-Take a look at your life Zorya, take a look at the life of Darius. It was never meant for peace, you always carried a wilderness in your heart, and you have shared it with Darius, and we might just still need a bit of that wilderness to survive.- Jonah answered her.
-My life has been nothing but just surviving since Darius passed away.- Zorya admitted.
-I am so sorry Zorya, you came as a stranger into our kingdom, and it became everything to you, but we all became so liberate to put the future of it on your back all alone.-
-It is alright Jonah, that was the duty of a Queen.-
-Here you are worshiped as a goddess.- Jonah said with a slight smile on his face.
-I am no goddess Jonah, I bleed like every other human.- Zorya said.
Since she came in Gora Nveskaya, the pain in her lungs was getting worse and yet she still refused to ask for treatment, there were so many things that had to be done before that.
Cyrus and Mira soon approached them.
-Mum, you seem sad.- Cyrus noticed.
-Is it because of my upcoming fight?- Mira asked carefully.
-Your upcoming fight Mira? No. You are not going to fight Boris. Him and I have so many things we need to solve ad we can only solve it with weapon.- Zorya said.
-You cannot fight mother.- Cyrus was quick to stop her.
Just looking at Zorya could easily bring the tears to their eyes, she looked so small and weak standing in front of them with her white hair and skinny arms.
-I cannot allow that mother, you will not fight Boris. I am a male, and I will step in front to protect both you and my sister.- Cyrus answered.
-That is my fight Cyrus!- Mira yelled.
-My children, look around you, if you die, they will burn you here and the wolves will howl for your death, but it is still not your time, because there is a kingdom waiting for you. Your father and I pledged our lives to protect you, and that is what I am going to continue doing until my last breath. Let me fight for you, you are everything that I have left. You are the reason I survived, you are the reason I can still proudly lift my sword. You are my everything.- Zorya said feeling the tears in her sad, blue eyes.
