Zorya decided that she was ready to give society another chance, before she becomes a Queen, and everyone become obliged to respect her. She wanted to earn that respect by herself.
That day, Sarah helped Zorya to choose among the beautiful dresses she possessed, simple, yet beautiful white dress. Zorya decorated her hair with the flowers, refusing all the gold ornaments, she wished to be feminine, but she wanted to do it on her own way.
Darius waited for the princess outside, today, she was going to spend time in the beautiful yard in front of the castle, along with the noble company, she was going to try to enjoy.
"Don't worry my princess, I am sure you will be able to steal the hearts of those nobles. They will love you" Sarah said.
"I am not sure do I want them to love me, or simply fear me." Zorya answered.
"They loved our Queen Anna, may she rest her soul in peace." Sarah said.
"I am not her."
"I did not want to offend you princess, please forgive me." Sarah said.
"There is nothing to forgive Sarah." Zorya smiled at her maid before leaving her chambers.
"May I say you look astonishing?" Darius smiled at Zorya.
"You may write more poetry for me Darius."
"You will have to earn it my dear." Darius smiled taking her hand in his. Her wolf, came by her side as well.
"I think he deserves a place by my side as well." Zorya said with a smile, as the two of them made their way to the yard, where they were accompanied by the nobles, who did not seem happy about seeing a wild animal by the side of a princess, but still, they were greeted with a bow.
"It is a pleasure to meet you in our home. Please do not be afraid of my friend. He would not hurt anyone." Zorya said, now she could already perfectly speak the language of Walnia.
"I am surprised you would allow such an animal in your court King Darius." One of the people said.
"I do what I need to please my princess." Darius answered.
"That is right, it is important for a woman to be happy." Other man said and chuckled.
"I will let you speak with your friends." Zorya smiled, and took a step away from Darius and the man who were surrounding him. Darius never failed to notice the hungry eyes they had for his princess, and it made him sick.
After ordering her wolf to stay a bit aside, Zorya carefully observed the woman who were standing aside and pretending they were not speaking about her. Sarah helped her memorize each of them, Gwen was the one in green dress, the young and beautiful, dark haired woman who failed to merry Darius after the death of Anna, and married counselor instead, so she could be close to the nobles. Clara was the red haired one, who had a blue eyes, and seemed somehow wicked, she was a daughter of royal banker, and she was searching for a wealthy husband. And then, there was Mary, who was older than the rest of the woman, and seemed vise, and polite. Mary wore a simple, purple dress, that complimented her blue eyes. Mary was the wife of the general, who participated in the war against Gora Nevskaya.
