"We can expect the attack of the Viking by the next full moon, which means that we do not have much time to prepare for this battle, considering the lost we had in Gora Nevskaya, I can tell you that this battle is not going to be easy for Walnia. But we are going to give our souls and our bodies on that battlefield, to Walnia, and we shall fight until the last soldier remaining to protect you and to protect our home!" Darius spoke the words calmly to the people surrounding him, they knew that the battle will be soon, and the atmosphere was tense, people were frightened for Vikings. After the last battle they fought against them, they expected that Vikings shall never return to Walnia.

"I speak to you not as a Queen of Walnia, but as a soldier, who will fight in the first lines to protect you. There is no time for fear, there is no time for panic. We can win this battle only if we stand strong together as one. I am calling upon every man who is strong enough to hold a sword in his hand, I am calling upon every mother who wants to protect her children, do not cry in despair, stay strong for them. We shall fight for you." Zorya said standing next to her husband.

Zorya seemed so strong, so powerful, never before Walnia had a Queen who fights beside the soldiers, equal to them in death. That uncivilized, pagan queen, could be their savior. Zorya stood proudly as the cold air caressed her skin, as the snow was barely falling down into a white perfection, that will soon be colored in crimson blood.

"Everyone who are willing to fight, shall come to general Joseph and will be given sword, and armor." Darius said.

Back in the palace, in the room that was a secret for Zorya's eyes since she moved into the Wlania, she sat with Darius and his trusted generals and brothers, looking at the map of their shore, and thinking about a perfect defense plan.

"We will have to isolate the civil, we don't want any harm to happen to them." Jonah said.

"We should leave soldiers with the, so they can be protected." One of the generals said.

"The soldiers should be on the battlefield." Darius interrupted.

"But, who will protect the civil?" Avram asked looking at his brother.

"If all the soldiers are on the battlefield, they will make sure that there is no need for civil to be protected inside the Kingdom." Zorya answered.

"And how are we going to make sure that our families are safe my Queen?" One of the generals asked.

"How well do you know our forest?" Zorya answered them with a question.

"Not well enough, I assume you could help us with that." Darius answered.

"We are listening to your plan my Queen." Darius said with a smirk. He knew that the time when her skills will prove worth will come, and that she will be able to help him rule more than anyone else.

"What my plane include is the importance to make the forest, our most important battlefield. We need to make the road there seem the easiest, we need to make it seem unprotected, we need them to try to go through it, to close all the other roads. And then let them come to me." Zorya said.

"That sounds like an acceptable plan to me. Tell me how many people you need, and what weapons they need to be skilled for?" Darius asked.

"I need fire, and I need archers." Zorya said.

"Are you doing to burn us Queen?" Jonah asked, feeling curious about her plan.

"I would never hurt the forest, be sure about that general." Zorya said.

"You are dismissed. We shall start preparing for the defense today." Darius said, and the generals bowed their heads before leaving the king and the queen alone in the room.

"I have trust in you, and I respect your ability to make tactics and to fight battles by my side, but promise me something. If it gets too hard for you to handle the battle, you shall leave immediately." Darius said.

"Aren't we silly? A little girl and a blind man fighting a war together. Sounds like we have no chance to win, but it is actually quite opposite of that. I do not doubt in our victory." Zorya answered with a smile on her face.

"You are having too much fun doing this, aren't you?"

"Of course I am. I had enough of sitting on the throne and being pretty, because it seems that your people think I am not very good at being a queen. They shall see how good I am at being a general." Zorya said.

"You don't need to prove anything..." Darius tried to say but she cut him off.

"Of course I do. I am still a stranger here."

Darius sighed and touched her pale cheek with his hand. No matter what he said, his strong wife isn't going to give up having the opportunity to fight.

"Darius I..." Zorya tried saying those words but it was so hard to make them slip out from her lips.

"I know Zorya, I love you too." Darius said pressing his lips to her forehead and kissing it gently.

But they suddenly heard loud voices in front of the castle.

"I am sorry to interrupt the two of you, but brother, people want to see The she-wolf of Walnia." Avaram said.

"I believe that would be me?" Zorya asked chuckling.

"Of course my Queen." Avram said.

Zorya walked outside to see the woman who were calling out her name, Kreshnik immediately running by her side in case she was in danger.

"Our Queen, Zorya, The she-wolf of Walnia, we came to thank you for your service." Gwen, the woman who haven't treated her so well when they first meet stepped in front of all the woman who came with her.

"Please, forgive me and everyone else for the way we treated you since you came to our Kingdom. We believe you are our true Queen." Gwen said bowing to Zorya, and the rest of the woman soon followed, doing the same.

"Once this is over, please, teach us, to fight like you do, we are all sick of sitting at home, as our loved ones die on the battlefield." One of the woman said.

Zorya was surprised to see all the woman who treated her as if she was less worth then a rock, suddenly kneeling in front of her, begging her to teach them to become like her.

"The She-Wolf of Walnia." Zorya mumbled with a smile loving the name that was given to her.

"It shall be my honor to teach you everything I know."

That is how the She-Wolf howled at her people, giving them strength to fight, finally they understood that while she was here, there was no reason to be afraid because she shall howl at her enemies as well, until every single one of them perishes into the ash.
