Yea, so, hi guys. Sorry if I update a little too late for your expectations, I just want to make this story the best that it possibly can. I don't update as often as I did so next time I update, I'll give you three chapters( which I am almost done with). But it's gonna be hard because I think this story is moving a little too fast and I'm thinking of splitting them in half to have a longer story. Haters plz don't hate on my writing, because if you do, I'm most likely to never update again because of self consciousness. I am also working on  another book and I kinda want to work on it to kinda revise it and stuff. I'm feeling a little low and tired too, maybe a little stressed, so that's why there aren't as many ! as there were in the last one so........ yea. I literally wake up at 1:00 to write and end up writing until 6:00, so..... I'm making sacrifices for you guys. I would do anything to finish this story and make it good. I also love to write. Soo.......yea. Bye guys. I hope you can understand why I do it. See ya next time!

Sophie turned bright red. She knew that Keefe was just a friend. For now was the question. She had reached an agreement with Fitz that there would be no lovey-dovey things between them and that they would just be friends. She did not want a relationship or a starting relationship after ending one so soon. But none of her friends had known that she and Fitz had an agreement between that they would just stay as friends/breakup. They legitimately thought they were still together but not every relationship works out well, so she or Fitz would have to break the news to everyone sometime but...... maybe not today. Another day. She will just keep stalling until she's with someone else. Probably on her match lists. Then everyone would know, so......yea. Sophie lost track of time while she was thinking and her friends were already waiting at the door, waiting to be let in. She was shocked when she heard Edaline yelling for her from downstairs that everything was ready and her friends were waiting. She scurried down the stairs and reached the door to welcome them in.
"Hi guys!" Sophie greeted. Everyone had their arms full of the stuff they brought and it was clear that their arms were tired of holding it. So when she let them in, they full-on sprinted towards the living room to throw their stuff down.
"Finally........." Keefe whispered. Then he did his best to fake passing out. Sophie couldn't help but giggle at the sight of their relief. They acted as if they were holding it for hours, when it was only about 15 minutes.
"What are you laughing at?" Dex asked.
"Oh... nothing." Sophie replied. She had the hugest grin on her face and her cheeks were bright pink.
"Yea, right." Dex muttered, sprawled on the floor. He narrowed his eyes at the silent proof she had. Then he put his face back down.
"Are you guys......ok?" Sophie asked. This time she was less joking but her friends, of all people, were not.
"What. Does. It. Look. Like. To. You. Soph." Fitz responded with the same expression Dex wore.
"I'll let you do whatever you are doing now for a little longer. But Edaline made fresh batch of mallowmelt! And it's still hot if you want some!" Sophie bribed. And at that, everyone was competing to be the first in the kitchen, to get the first slice of mallowmelt. Sophie was the first in the kitchen because she was in there when all of her friends were sprawled on the floor of her living room. Biana was second because of her vanishing thing. The next was Keefe, because, well, when he wants something, especially mallowmelt, you can not stop him. Can not. Fitz was next because he brain pushed fed out of his way. Dex was last because, well, does this situation look ideal for a technopath? Yea, no. But everyone got mallowmelt, and everyone was laughing after the whole thing was over. It seemed ridiculous, but not out of the ordinary for them. After the 'Mallowmelt War', as Keefe dubbed it, they went over to the living room where all their stuff was in knots and tangles. Well, Sophie's wasn't because it was upstairs, but the whole group groaned. They spent 15 minutes trying to untangle all of the sleeping bags and pillows from itself, and it was not very fun. Most of them got knotted into the tangles and the rest had to get them out. Then totally out of the blue, Keefe decided to take a pillow and wack Biana in the face with it and, 'it ruined my face! My complexion is ruined!' In Biana's words. She tried to hit Keefe and ruin him for payback with her pillow, but hit Dex with it instead becaus Keefe was smart and backed away with a swift motion. Then that went on and on until everyone was raging in a pillow war, extremely mad at everyone hitting them. They gave new painful bruises to anyone who dared whack them until they all felt so swelled that nobody could even pick up a pillow to defend themselves. Everyone was laughing really hard, and they were smiling true and brightly. The room was covered in pillow feathers and they were, too. Their hair was messed up and their clothes were forever a reminder of the pain they endured during this extreme pillow war.
"This's gonna hurt in the morning...... I just know it.........." Keefe groaned playfully.
"Doesn't everyone?" Sophie replied sarcastically.
"Yes. It feels like this pain will last through Christmas. That's a long time, considering it's June." Biana added.
"So true." Everyone agreed.
"Let's get back to untangling these cruel things." Dex decided. While trying to sit up, a cracking noise ringed through the room as he widened his eyes in pain. He laid himself back down and cursed. Then he said,
"This is all your fault Keefe." Dex said.
"It was all worth it though." Keefe countered, plastering his signature smirk on his face.
"Why are you right?" Dex admitted.
"I have my ways." Keefe replied.
"Just stop you two. You can discuss this later," a voice said," because right now I have dinner." Sophie realized that the voice was Edaline. Sophie didn't really notice that she was hungry until she smelled the delicious scents if the warm soup that Edaline was holding in her hands.
"But if you are not feeling very well, then this can wait. I'll warm it up after you recover from however the pillows got ripped open." Edaline baited.
"Sophie. You must enhance us. We need the food. NOW." Biana said. But Sophie was already on it. She turned her enhancing on and it sent a warm tickle inside her. She had always liked the feeling of turning on her enhancing ever since she learned how to do it without the 8 million pairs of gloves and finger gadgets. Immediately everyone sighed of relief. They felt much better now, but Biana used that to her advantage. She turned invisible immediately and was the first in the kitchen.
"Aww that's not fair, Biana!" Fitz told her.
"There was never a rule against using abilities!" Biana said.
"We should make one of those," Keefe whispered to Sophie," but specifically against using them to get food."
"But I get a pass,"she whispered back," because she's my mom."
"That's not fair though." Keefe told her.
"She's my mom so I should have an advantage." Sophie clarified.
"Why? I need another reason." Keefe pushed.
"She loves me." Sophie said with a triumphant smile. Keefe rolled his eyes in a sarcastic way.
"Fine. But only if the others agree." Keefe bargained.
"Deal." Sophie agreed. Then they walked into the kitchen to eat their soup before it got too cold.
