Suddenly, something bumped into the pod. I looked at the girls. "What was that?" I asked, nervously. Suddenly another bump happened. Then another. Then another. "What the fuck is going on?" Jessica asked, irritably. "What is hitting our pod?" Tiffan...
I looked down at Angel as she stared into nothingness. She's been a tragic mess since Kenneth died. I looked up at Tiana as she sat her stuff down at the door and went upstairs to get some more. She was leaving David. She too was also upset that Kenneth died. We couldn't tell her how it happened. She questioned every one of us but we couldn't tell her exactly what happened.
So David had to lie and say that he drowned. Tiana blames Angel and said that she should've saved him since she was the better swimmer. Tiana also thinks that Jade and Angel has planned to kill him. We explained that neither of them had anything to do with it. She said that we all should've did something. Since there's more more people who know how to swim suddenly can't save a young boy.
Tiana called the police, but with no proof, they ignored us. As a result, Tiana is divorcing David and moving out. I looked at Angel again. Tears streamed down her face. I held her as she cried into my shirt again. This was like the hundredth time she cried. I don't blame her. If I ever lost Hailey, I don't know what I'd do. Yeah she gets on my nerves but I would never want anything bad to happen to her.
I looked around at everyone else. Everyone was so quiet. I looked at Tiana. She put her coat and carried her bags out the door. She slammed the door hard. David blew a breath and shook his head. Then he bursted into tears. "April is so dead." He said, lowly. "She is. She's not getting away with this. Her Mom is gone. Now she's next." Angel said. "What are we gonna do? We don't know where she is. She hasn't been at school in days." Jessica said.
"Only thing to do: do what we did with her mother. We take away her powers." Jade said. "How are we gonna get her to the moon pool? She's not stupid. She won't just go to the moon pool willingly. She's gonna suspect it's a trap." I said. "He's right. We need to trick April." Kyle said. "How?" Tiffany asked. "Trap her." David said. We looked at him. "What do you mean?" Angel asked. "You guys have the mermaids and mermen corner her so she has no choice but to go to the moon pool." He said.
"We trap her in the moon pool so she can't get out." Tiffany said, smirking. "That's brilliant David." Jade said, grinning. "But we don't know where April is." Jessica said. "She couldn't have gone far." Stephanie said. "I think I may have an idea of where she could be." Angel said. "Where?" I asked. "Follow me." Angel said. We followed her out the back door and to the private beach. We all ran in the water and swam away. We followed Angel for miles.
