Chapter 13 - Day Three

Louis' POV

I woke up to the sun peering through the entrance of the cave. I yawned and stretched my arms above my head, getting rid of the stiffness and cramps. I looked at the back of the cave where Harry and Cher were. He smiled at me weakly and I looked down at Cher who was lying in his lap.

'Tired?' I asked him. He nodded.

'She's so cute when she sleeps,' he said. 'We should probably clean her wound, but I don't want to go to the oasis. Will you go?'

'We shouldn't split up,' I replied. He nudged Cher and she stirred.

'We're going to the oasis,' he said. She got up slowly and leaned against the cave wall. Harry grabbed her hand while I picked up our remaining weapons: a trowing axe and two daggers. I handed the throwing axe to Harry and a dagger to Cher. I walked to the entrance, looking for any signs of Selena, but saw a coral snake instead. I gulped and Harry went to the entrance to see what was wrong.

'Leave it alone and don't move,' he said calmly. My mind went back to the pain. Can you believe it was only two days ago? Harry looked at my expression and cracked a smile.

'It won't get you,' he said. He better be right.

Cher's POV

I saw Louis stop and his face was full of fear.

'Leave it alone and don't move,' he said calmly. He gestured for me to stay where I was. I stayed put.

'It won't get you,' he said. Louis' face disagreed. He took the dagger out of Louis' hand. He stared at the snake for a moment before he flicked his hand and the dagger shot out of it and into the snake's head. Louis' face didn't relax.

'It's dead,' Harry said. He put his hand on Louis' arm. He flinched back and moved against the wall. Harry sighed.

'Let's go to the oasis,' I suggested and both boys nodded. Harry retrieved the dagger and gave it back to Louis. We walked out of the cave, Harry in the lead and Louis at the back. I was searching for snakes and Louis was searching for any signs of Selena. A few moments later we arrived at the oasis and I fell to my knees. It was empty. The oasis was empty. Harry and Louis shared looks of shock then Harry helped me to my feet.

'Looks like you'll die soon, so I should just help speed up the process,' a cruel voice sounded from behind us. We whipped around. Selena.

Selena's POV

Louis wasn't that good of a look out; I sprinted between cacti and hid while he searched. This was going to be easy. People say revenge isn't sweet, but it shall be once I get it. Draco was dead because of Louis, Louis will pay. Once they arrived at the oasis, I hung back a good hundred metres. All I had was one knife, but it should do the job. Cher fell to her knees beside the empty oasis. Harry quickly helped her to her feet.

'Looks like you'll die soon, so I should just help speed up the process,' I said, alerting them to my presence. They whipped around, their hands on their weapons.

Harry's POV

Selena was here, but she won't get the ones I love. Three against one, this should be easy. I shielded Cher with my body. Selena grabbed her knife and flung it at us just as I threw my throeing axe. The knife hit Louis squarely in the chest just as her head fell from her body. Her cannon went off and I rushed to him. He fell to the ground and gasped in pain. I put my hands against his chest, trying to keep the blood in. It just kept coming; it was a feeble attempt, so I put my arms around him.

'He won't make it,' Cher said, hanging back. I shook my head, teas pouring down my face.

'I won't let him,' I said.

'Cher?' Louis asked roughly. She rushed to him and caressed his cheek.

'Yes?' she replied.

'Take care of Harry for me,' he said. She started crying.

'Of course I will,' she vowed. 'I promise.'

'And Harry? I love you and tell Eleanor I'll love her forever,' Louis said. I nodded.

'I love you too,' I said. He nodded one ad his body went limp in my arms. His cannon went off and a noise burst out of nowhere.

'Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the winners of the First Fandom Games, Cher Lloyd and Harry Styles!'

Author's Note: I really hope you liked this! The last chapter will be up really soon and I hope you enjoed this! I was crying while writing this in my Writing Workshop class and my classmates were looking at me funny, but I don't care. Was crying when I typed this up!
