I stood in the corner of the room motionless, leaning into George with his arm securely wrapped around my waist.
I tried, with all I could not to look at George's older brother, but no matter how I distracted myself my eyes always found their way back to him.
It was horrific what Greyback had done to him. Madam Pomfrey speculated if his face would be permanently scarred.
With the thought I glance at the girl by his side. Worriment etched her face as she held the hand of her fiancé.
Poor Fleur... I thought to myself.
Looking up, George already had his eyes on me. A forced smile crosses his face, "He will be alright Leianna," he whispers down to me, "He is already healing."
I glance across the room, making sure no one else was listening to our conversation.
"It's not him I'm worried about," I state.
I crane my neck up, so that I could bring my voice even lower, "Look at Fleur, can you imagine what she is feeling right now?"
George's eyes leave mine as he glances at his future sister in-law.
I could see he was honestly running the question through his mind. Finally his eyes make their way back to me.
"I pity her," he says, "If what happened to Bill, would have happened to you..." he shook his head, "I don't even like the thought of it."
"Nor I," I reply. My encounter with Draco was wighing heavy on my mind, and I needed to let it go, to tell George about everything.
"George, I saw Draco before he left with Snape," I explain causing him to look down to me.
"And?"
I let out a sigh, "George, I told him the truth as I am going to tell you," I begin, "I still have feeling for him. I can't help it, I do."
He pulls away from me, "You have feelings for him?"
"I do, and it would be wrong not to tell you this. We also kissed, before he left, I can't lie to you about it anymore."
"Do you want to end what we have then?" he ask dropping my hands.
"I'm... I'm not sure, I just can't keep these things from you, it isn't fair to you," I explain, "Do you want to end this?"
He contemplates what I said, " I don't," he finally replies, "And I should have known that something like this would happen. I mean, you were so reluctant to accept my offer to begin with."
I down my head, not knowing how to respond.
"But I don't want to let you go," he continues, "I can't imagine you not in my life. I want to be with you."
"But, what about Draco, about what I just told you?" I ask shocked that he even still considered to be with me.
"I can accept it," he replies, "I can accept it happened. I did rush you back into a relationship with me, but Leianna, it doesn't need to happen again. Whatever you have with Draco, you need to accept that it's over. He chose his side, the side you are not on."
"I know," I reply numbly, " And I'm trying to."
He bends down and kisses the top of my head, "I will wait for you to get over him. I want you in my life."
I let out a sigh, "You are too forgiving."
He laughs, "I just know what I want."
I laugh and he gives me a small hug.
