the way her hair sat perfectly coiled on her shoulders after she first got it cut.
and the way she would stare longingly at her brother, a question she couldn't ask darting across her eyes until she couldn't anymore and he was gone.
i never noticed her. not really.
but i wish i had.
i wish i had until i coined the term "the murphy curse" after the dreaded end of the murphy siblings.
i wish i had noticed her before she was gone. with her brother. with connor. before i could join the murphys and eventually succumb to them.
i wish i had noticed her before it was too late to go back.
now i'll be beginning my own curse. the beck curse or maybe just the alana one. i was like connor and now he's gone. then i was beside zoe and now she's gone.
it's only fair.
so goodbye for the final time.
i deserve to disappear.
