Violet sat on the broken porch

Violet sat on the broken porch. It creaked with every movement she made. The hole she had made months ago now had large grass growing tall.

She had just taken a walk through the dull and broken home, her hand trailing along the walls. She carefully had walked up the stairs that felt fragile and frail. Her old room looked the same, the walls painted with flowers held the same comfort they did when she had came last year.

But somthing was different about the house. The silence that covered the property didn't bring the same ease. Instead it brought a loneliness she had forgotten about. As she sat reminiscing on her time alone in the place, all she could focus on was the absence of Charlies sport channels playing loudly on the T.V.

The thoughts of the meals she had on the hood of her Jeep now seemed sad as she compared it to the Dinner meals she had.

And it was sitting on the porch now that made she realize how uncomfortable she felt sitting completely alone. No one near her. And even the absence of anothers pain didn't comfort her.

But the thoughts of the last couple months played in her mind. Bellas pain knocking on her skull all hours of the day. Charlies worry. The two seemenly already having a hard time and Violet felt alone even around them now.

Battling her own demons all alone....Is it even a when your losing so much?

Her anger and distust now scared her, and she found herself no longer happy around others or alone.

"If it isn't my favorite shut in" Violet continues her walk, not bothering to turn. Kaden had continued to be a constant annoyance.

He kept trying to talk to her. She had never seen him before, or his real friends, but figured the whole trying to befriend the weird quiet girl was a little side project of his. He didn't seem like the prankster type, he seemed genuine. But Violet just wanted him to cut the pity party and move on.

"...you can't ignore me. Or avoid me, as iv seen you do several times" He said with a smirk. Violet sighed and narrowed her eyes. Turing to glare at the boy.

"Okay seriously, my da...- guardian is the sheriff. Do I need to tell him I have a starker and get a restauraning order? Ever heard the phrase no means no? This is me, saying no, and to stay away." She said fericly. Then without giving him a second to respond she turned on her heel and began to walk away. He watched her walk away before jogging to catch up.

"Hey wait, I'm sorry I didn't mean to be creepy....I'm just new and didn't have any friends...and you seemed lonely too...so I thought, why not just be lonely together" he said softly. Violets strong face softened at his words. Realizing she was wrong with her assumption. She turned to him as they walked down the hall.

"....you should find a different friend" she said sadly, tucking some hair behind her ear. He gave her a small smile

"As cool as you?" He asked. She gave him a confused look.

"You dont even know me"

"You read comic books and secretly correct the engish teachers" she narrowed her eyes suspicious.

"Thats not creepy" she said sarcastically. He chuckled.

"It wasn't hard to notice, you scoff and roll your eyes before you write them in your notebook" she smiled at little, and for a second she considered it.

Then suddenly Kaden stepped on his untied shoe string. Without meaning to, he grabbed on to her, them both falling together. As Violet fell she began to panic as she felt him touch her body in a variety of places. Luckily her clothing acted as a barrier.

"Im sorry" he muttered as he backed away, getting on his knees as she laid on her back.

Violet sat in panic as she had flashes of the dark places she's been in before. Waking up in a hospital after the last. Her heart was beating fast and tears began to come to her eyes as she tried to stop the panic attack she was having.

"Violet really I'm sorry" he said worried as he looked at her. He hovered over her, wanting to help her up but as soon as he put out a hand she flinched back.

She forcibly wiped her face and began to stand up by herself.

"Let me hel-" she looked at him with a glare. This one different than the others she gave him. This one was angry and piercing.

"Can you just stop" she said with venom.

"Im s-" he started but she interrupted him.

"You're sorry. That's great. Everyone's sorry. Everyone's always apologizing. And I don't want to hear them anymore. No more sorry's. Just stay the hell out of my way and stop coming into my life!" She screamed. She glared at him a moment more before seeing his wide eyes and sad frown. She then noticed all the stares they were getting. Students shocked at the quiet girl. She looked back at him.

"I..." he muttered, but was at a loss of words. Her face softened as she realized what she had said.

"No, its..not your fault, I'm sorry...im going to go" she muttered before dipping and grabbing her bag off the floor and fast walking towards the exit.

It was late at night. The household was silent as the three inhabitants slept. If you listened long enough you'd hear Bellas tossing Nd turn
Bella tosses herself awake, looking around frantically, slowly realizing it was just a dream.

But she suddenly heard the screeches she heard in her dream once again. Fingernails on her window. Bella bolts upright, looks around for a weapon.

Her bedroom door opens to reveal Violet holding a bat. Hearing the noises from her room. She had narrowed eyes as she looked around the room ready to strike.

"Bella! Ouch damn it; open the window." The two heard. Violet rasied a brow and lowerd the bat. Entertaining the room and closing the door behind her.

Bella cautiously moves to her window to find Jacob, shirtless, clings to the top of a tree which bends with his weight. Bella opens the window, whisper-yelling.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Get out of the way." He begins to swing his legs, increasing momentum. She realizes what he's about to attempt.

"No!" He launches himself throgh the window with great agility. Jacob lands on the balls of his feet. Bella is stunned. He freezes, listening for Charlie. Nothing. A bitter, self- satisfied grin spreads on his face. It pisses Bella off. He takes in her room.

"I pictured your room more... cluttered." Violet rolled her eyes and placed the bat against the sidetable and sat on the brunettes bed tiredly.

"Why are you here?" Bella asked with a glare

"I had to talk to you. Alone." He looked at Violet who was glaring at him from the bed . "Or...with Violet"
