Her hair was up in a complicated way only Maria knew how to do. Voilet only able to do a pony tail or if she was lucky a sub-standered bun. She wore a gown and a large blue cloak. Violet often noticed the looks shed get from wearing such bright colors in a place everyone only wore black or red. But Violet had told Maria to surprise her when it came to the clothes she wore everyday, and Maria always said Violet looked best in pastels.

This morning after getting dressed Maria told her she had to leave, some other business to attend to. At first Violet hadn't minded, but  slowly as the day had gone on she realized how little there was to do when she wasn't in court. She now walked through the garden once more, for what felt like the hundredth time.

"Violet" she heard from behind her, knowing the voice well she continued her stride, him catching up and joining her by her side. Without her usual tone she spoke tiredly

"Alec. What is it now?" she asked as she observed her surroundings again. trying to notice something she hadn't before. Alec from beside her smirked.

"Must I always need to have a reason to talk to you?" he asked in amusement. Violet sighing slightly

"No but I'd prefer it" She said, still no energy in her tone.

"Very funny" he muttered. Violet then remembered something and turned her head slightly to look at the boy from the corner of her eyes.

"Who is Victoria?" she asked, keeping a casual tone to her voice, trying to get the info out of him. she immediately noticed his hesitation, how he looked in the opposite direction and cleared his throat.

"I told you I don't know" he said, Violet rolling her eyes to herself. A frown coming to her.

"Your sister seemed to know exactly who she was" she said with slight glare. Alec just turned back to her and gave her a smile.

"My sister and I do not share a mind" she sighed, looking away.

"I wonder who bennifits from that the most" she said almost absentmindedly. No interest in talking to him if he was not going to answer her questions. Alec took a step infrount of her and turned to look at her, making her stop walking as he stood before her. He gave her a charming smirk

"Can we please drop this mystery vampire business" he said, she narrowed her eyes on him.

"I never said she was a vampire" she said knowingly. Alec shurgged casually, though she noticed his face show panic for a split secound.

"I assumed" he muttered. She just glared.

"uh huh, whatever" she scoffed. Then quickly side stepped the boy, continuing her walk.

"You look miserable"

"Perhaps because I am" she answered as he joined her at the hip again.

"May I ask why?" she sighed, turning to look at him

"What is it you all do for fun?" she asked, dropping the Victoria subject as it was clear he wasn't going to break that quickly.

"Fun?" he asked. She gave him a frown.

"You do know what fun is?" she asked, feeling bad for him for a moment. He scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"Of course I do" she sighed, rasing her perfect brows

"So?" she asked. the smirk that came to him made her want to take it back instantly

"We ca-" she raised a hand to silence him

"If you say anything involving hurting or killing humans I will hit you" he chuckled

"Actually I was going to suggest somthing quite different. Although it is much funner covered in the blood of a victim" Violet almost gagged. a look of disgust coming to her face.

"Its truly sad that your the second most person I have to talk to" she muttered, looking away.

"Aw yes, you've grown fond of your servant" she heard him say. she nodded

"Shes much funnier than you buzz kills" Violet noticed a pause and turned to look at Alec. His face showing hesitation and a frown.

"I...would be careful about that" She gave him noting but confusion

"What?" He looked at her a moment

"Growing fond of her" he said, her face tilting to the side.

"Why?" after a another pause he smiled, a casual shrug and small chuckle

"No reason, just...humans you know" he said as he looked back to the garden. Violet just narrowed her eyes worried.

"It felt like you ment somthing different" he laughed, looking back at her with reassuring eyes.

"Your thinking too much newbie, lets do something" She raised a brow

"Like what?"

"Whatever you want to do, for this so called fun your so fond of"
