Violet Andrews spent most of her days conversing with her servant Maria. Maria was special because she was human. A human from this century who understood all of Violets references. She was a little older than Violet, as Violet was now forever 18 and Maria was a 25-year-old women. But Violet wondered if Maria was the closest thing shes ever had to an older sister.
Violet often talked to Maria about how weird the place was, as if they got in some kind of time-travel device and got sent back a decades. And Maria would giggle and they'd complain about what they missed from the 21st century.
Or Violet would give Maria ideas for her human bucket list, its something they came up with when Violet talked about things she wished she could have done one last time before she got turned.
They were almost inseparable and Violet would never be more grateful for someone when she felt like such an outsider.
Sadly the girls could only be together when Violet wasn't around any other vampires, as they all looked down on the human help and thought it weird Violet spoke so non-threatenely to such a "low-life"
Violets days involved annoying Jane, joking with Maria, teasing Alec and serving Aro, Marcus, and Caius. That and sucking the blood out of humans...which she was currently doing.
"Ahh, the Cullens" she heard from behind the human whos neck she was sucking on. She decided to ignore it since it was clear Aro wasn't talking to her.
"Care for a bite?" she heard Caius say with a rare teasing and amused tone. she often only heard him speak with the smugness of a child.
"Violet. We are here for her"
wait hold up???
"Oh, Violet. Did you hear that?" with a quick snap of the neck she finished the human off and took a step back as she dropped the human to the ground, now able to see the group of vampires in the center of the room in defensive stances.
Violet raised a brow as she looked upon their surprised and shocked faces. Not recognizing any of them. Violet turned to look at Aro confused and he smiled happily, rasinging a hand and motioning her over. Without a thought she whipped her blood soacked neck and mouth off with her white blood soaked dress. Then speed in front of him
"Violet?" she heard whispered behind her. The voice caused her to pause, she turned to see the golden eyes of a curly-haired blonde.
those eyes...they were familiar, the color...so strange, weren't they vampires. Why weren't their eyes red?
"Do I Know you?" She asked rasing a brow in confusion. Suddenly a small cute brunette girl stepped forward with a large smile on her face, relief in her eyes.
"Oh my god V-" Alice was interrupted by Aro.
"Violet" instantly she looked back to him and bowed her head
"Yes" she asked.
"Do you know these vampires" without looking back she shook her head no
"No" she answered. He shrugged.
"Do you have any desire to go to Washington?" Washionton? Thats where she use to live isn't it, with Bella and Charlie?
"Of course not" she answered as she looked at him, he however was only looking at the vampires behind her with a smugness she hadn't seen on him before. Caius matching this teasing energy while Marcus sat with his usual disinterest.
"Then I belive the Cullens have no purpose here" Aro said with a sigh, the guards moving to surround the Cullens
"no wait Violet!" "Violet please!" "whats wrong with you!" was heard from behind her, yet she didn't bother to turn and look back. Hearing as they began to get physically escorted out. She heard them shout and plead, them try and fight to stay but she refused to look. She couldn't...there was something about those eyes.

"Who where those people?" Alec and her sat in the garden in the center of the palace, where there were shielded from human eyes.
"People from your past life. Who you decided to erase" he answered with a casual and uninterested manner. She gave him a confused look as she tried to make sense of the events that just occurred.
"They came for me?" she clarified
"Sure, just because they are bad people who hurt you doesn't mean they don't want you back" Violet raised a brow, that being the most intelligent thing she's heard from the boys mouth since she meet him. She considered what he said and realized he must be right.
"Your right, its just hard. Not remembering so much about my past, even if I did it to myself" She sighed, looking at her skin for a moment and finding it's appearance in the sun so strange and unfamiliar
"You must remember you belong to the Volturi now, and we will protect you"
"Your right, I have no reason not to trust you" she sighed. a pause blew in before Alec turned to her with that charming smile she hated.
"We're having a party tomorrow" he said with excitement. She chuckled as she thought about the partys she remembers from movies and terrible teen tv shows.
"Im guessing it doesn't involve flashing lights and kegstands?" she asked amsued, he smiled and shook his head.
"A Ball...go with me?" he asked with almost rushed words. She gave him an unconvinced look.
"To a Ball?" she asked. Nerves settling as she imagined herself at a vampire ball, something she had absolute no reference for
"Yes, it doesn't mean anything. But I figured you wouldn't know much about a Ball. Seeing as your more familiar with what was it, kegstands?" she chuckled as he eased her worries. letting out a sigh and a roll of her eyes.
"Okay. I'll go with you, but don't take this as anything more than it is. Your my decade translator" he smirked and she knew she was in for it.
"As you wish" he winked. She scoffed, a frown growing on her face
"You dont even know thats a movie reference do you?"
"Movie?" she whimpered like a wonded puppy, placing one hand on her heart and whipping an imaginary tear from her eye
"It hurts" she fake cried. He just watched her in interest, a large grin on his face as he observed her strange actions
"You are a strange women Violet Andrews"
"no, your just old"
