(A/N: Ok book two. I was already writing something like this before I started my marauders book. I thought something out of my own imagination would be slightly better than something with guidelines. So ya enjoy this book.)
I was heading to school with my little sister, Cali. I was supposed to walk my little sister to school every day, but sometimes it seemed more like she was walking me. As we neared the school, I spotted one of my two best friends, Olivia Yates, or Ollie for short.
"Hey Cam, Cali." She said looking between the two of us before taking her place by my side.
"Hey. Have you seen Lily?" I said asking her
"Ya she's by the lunch yard. I didn't want her to leave so duct-taped her to a tree." She said it like it was the most normal thing ever.
"You did what!" Cali said. She didn't know Ollie like I did.
"She means she's waiting by my locker."
"You have some weird friends."
"You mean the best," I said putting my arm around Ollie.
"Whatever, just meet me in the lot after school."
"No can do little sis. I have band."
"Ok fine. Bye" Cali left before I could say anything else.
"That was nice," Ollie said as we walked up to my locker.
"Meh."
My other best friend, Lily Darming looked up from her phone as we neared her.
"What's popping." She said as I undid the lock on my locker. Ollie chuckled slightly as she took out her phone that made a noise signaling a notification just moments before.
"Oh I have to head off to Bio. See you guys at lunch." There were collective noises signaling we heard her.
"What time does Trig start?" I asked Lily. Even though it's been almost three weeks since school started, I still didn't know my schedule very well.
"9:30 I think" I looked at my phone screen at the same time that Lily did. It wasn't even 9 yet.
"I'm starving. Can we go to the cafeteria to get something?"
"Sure. You lead the way" She said as we started walking the opposite direction.
"No, no, you do NOT want me navigating. Ill navigate us off the end of a cliff." Lily stopped in her tracks and whipped her head around to look at me.
"Three things: First, What!?!. Second, We are inside a school building. Third, this is the third year of going to this school. How can you possibly not know where to go."
"I don't know. I'm just not good with memorizing directions."
"Ok whatever. Do you still want to go to the cafeteria because I have a granola bar and a banana in my bag."
"What flavor."
"I'm pretty sure bananas only have one flavor." She said laughing.
"I mean the bar, dimbo."
"I know." She said flashing me a smile. "It's chocolate-peanut butter."
"I'll take it. It's better than falling off a cliff."
We decided that we would head off to our first class because its all the way across the campus. Lily and I were both in period 1 Triganotmetry together. Ollie, sadly was in period 1 Biology.
Time Skip-Trig
"Hey" Lily whispered to me.
"What?" I whispered back
"Ollie's not going to be here tomorrow," She wrote on a scrap piece of paper. We had a less likely chance of getting caught that way.
"Y" I scribbled in response.
"She said she had a family thing to take care of. She texted me 2 minutes ago. She told me to tell you also."
"Ok. Should we ask her about it?"
"Maybe. We can ask her at lunch"
"Ok. Now we should probably put this away before Ms. P catches us." Even though our Trig teacher was pretty laid back, she still wanted us to pay attention during class.
"Good idea" She handed me the paper one last time before nodding to me and then giving her attention back to the person at the front of the room.
Time skip-Lunch
"Hey Ollie?"I said as we sat down with our lunch rays at our usual table.
"Hmm." She said barely looking up from her book. I nudged Lily to signal her to proceed
"Whats this family thing you have to do again?" Lily asked very cautiously.
"I'm not exactly sure myself. All I know is that I might have to be out of town for a couple of days."
"Ok we were just asking," Lily said finishing the conversation. " Um Ollie?"
"Hmm" She said, not looking up once again.
"Are you going to get food?"
"Oh right! Food's a thing. I should probably consume some of that." She said before running inside to get something.
Third Person
Once Ollie had come back with her lunch, the three girls joked, talked, and ate until the bell rang. All three thought that Olli had to just go somewhere really quick and she would be back the next day. Little did all three of them know, She would be gone for much longer. The next few weeks would test their friendship, strength, and bond. They didn't know what was coming, but they had to be ready for it when it did.
(A/N: Thank you for reading the first chapter in my new book. I'm really excited for this to continue. I don't know how people will like this but it was really fun to write. It was a short chapter, but the following chapters will definitely be more fun-filled and exciting. If you like this then tell me in the comment because I want to know. Also if you have any suggestions then put them down there also. Thanks, Bye
