Somethings Not Right

Ch. 3- Telling

(A/N: Hello again. If you are reading this, then its probably because you read the other two chapters. I'm going to try to make chapters longer and better quality. So the chapter might not be posted as frequently, but they will be longer and better (hopefully) Ok try to enjoy Chapter 3)

One day passed before the girls decided that they would tell their parents what they needed to do. They decided that they would go together to tell each other parents. They were nervous, but in order to get their friend back, they needed to do this. They walked to Cameron's house first.

"Cameron McCray, why are there weapons in my bathroom!?" Camerons mom yelled from the upstairs. 

"Ya. About that. I kinda can't go to school for at least the next 3 days because Ollie went missing so we're going on a quest to find her." Cam said nonchalantly.

"You're doing what!"

"Don't worry Mrs. M, there's only a 50% chance that we'll die. We wrote our wills yesterday. They're upstairs in Cam's bedroom" Lily said, carrying on the normal tone.

"And when we're you planning on doing this?"

"Right after we told my parents. Don't worry. We'll bring sunscreen. Here's our plan." Lily handed Mrs. McCray a detailed list of their plan. She scanned it over and returned it back to the girls.

"I'm still not sure."

"I would see why you aren't." Cam said "Just know that we know what we are doing and we will try our best to return with another person and in one piece."

"Ok fine. Just be careful and try not to get hurt."

"Try is the keyword there," Cam said as she started to raid the kitchen. "We're taking some food from here and some from Lily's house just FYI."

"Ok just please be careful."

"We will, mom, we will"

Time skip-Lily's house

"Hey dad, can't talk long. We have to go on a quest." Lily said as she walked through the door and dropped her bags.

"Ok just be careful"

"You're not even going to ask where we're going or why we're doing it"

"After 10 years of this friendship," He pointed between the two girls. "I've learned to stop asking questions."

"Cool. We're taking some food and other stuff"

"Ok just don't take the ravioli. That's dinner tonight."

"Why would we take ravioli on a quest."

"I don't know what people bring on quests. I've never been on one."

"Ok. Bye. I'll try to text you but I don't know if I'll have cell service."

"Ok. Be safe."

"Ok. We'll try. Bye"

"Bye"

As the girls walked out of the house, the necklace started to vibrate again. 

"Ready?" Lily asked Cam with a concerned look on her face.

"As I'll ever be"
