~Flashback~

"Lily I don't feel so good," Cam said before crumbling to the floor with a thud. Her eyes closed as well and all tension was released from her body.

~Flashback over~

"Cam!" Lily's vision was blurring and the room was spinning around her. She saw the walls falling away and the ceiling of the cave came into view. Her eyelids grew heavy and shut themselves. Emotion released itself from her face and she too was lying on the cave floor, unconscious

(TIME SKIP wHoOsH)

Ollie woke up a couple of hours after the girls passed out. She couldn't quite remember what happened right away, but when she saw where she was and her friends laying unconscious on the floor, the events of the past day came rushing back to her. She was dragged to this awful cave and was knocked out immediately. The only thing she saw before that was weapons lining the wall.

Ollie got up with a little struggle and made her way over to Lily. Lily didn't look too bad. She had scrapes here and there and dust and dirt just about everywhere. She picked her up and propped her up against the wall. She walked over to Cam and a small noise came out her mouth. There was her friend. Unconscious. Covered in her own blood. Tears streamed down her face and she took in the sight of her slowly dying friend. As much as she didn't want to believe it, she was slowly dying right in front of her. Any color that had been in her face before was gone. Her body was limp against the cold floor as more and more blood began to pour out of her friend's arm. She walked around her friend to take a look at her arm. There was a large chunk missing it and deep red blood was staining everything around her. Ollie felt like barfing. She couldn't leave her friend like this but she also couldn't see her like this. She paced around the room thinking of any way to help her friend. She had paced the room maybe a thousand times when she heard someone waking up. She whipped her head around to Cam, hoping it was her. Instead, she met the eyes of Lily, who was slowly getting up. Lily ran over to Ollie and flung herself into her arms. They hugged for about 3 minutes before Ollie unwrapped herself from Lily's grasp. Lily was facing away from Cam, so she couldn't see her. Ollie looked down and tears started to stream down her face. Lily had a look of confusion on her face until she turned around to look at her friend on the floor. She left out a small gasp and just cried. She bent down to look at Cam.

Cam's face was calm and peaceful. Her body, on the other hand, was most definitely not. Her clothes were soaked with her own blood and her skin was caked with dirt. Her right arm had a large gouge missing from the bicep. The scent of her blood was slowly wafting through the air. Lily couldn't keep her eyes from releasing her tears. A couple of them dropped onto Cam's open wound and you could see her face contort in pain. Ollie walked over to Lily and put a hand on her shoulder. As soon as she felt the hand on her shoulder, Lily whipped around and clutched onto Ollie and sobbed into her chest. Ollie couldn't do anything except comfort her crying friend. Lily slowly unhitched herself from the other girl and turned around to Cam.

"Can you look in Cam's bag for any sort of cloth?" Lily asked her friend with tears in her eyes. She bent down next to Cam and tore off her soaked tee-shirt sleeve. Ollie came back with multiple tee-shirts that she found in Cam's bag. Lily took them silently and began to get to work. She started off by soaking the first tee-shirt and using it to dab up as much blood as she could. Once it was soaked, she rinsed it and did the same thing about 4 more times. So much blood was oozing out at once, that it was hard to keep up with it all. Lily decided that it was best to try and wrap Cam's arm up. She tore three of the tee-shirts into three sections each. She then carefully wrapped each of them on top of the other until Cam had a makeshift cast. Both girls could see Cam trying to return to consciousness, but with her losing so much blood so quickly, there was no way she could.

A couple of hours later with Cam still out, the girls decided it was in their best intentions to make their way back to their homes. Ollie, being the bigger of the two girls, carried Cam to start off. They made their way to the tunnels in silence. Neither of them wanted to talk about the events that unfolded within the last month. It had taken Lily and cam almost two weeks to make it to Ollie.

Lily's mind wandered to what Cam had said not even 24 hours ago. She was ready to die. She was ready to put her whole life on the line just so their friend could make out of there alive. She didn't care what happened to her. She only cared about her friends and if they lived or not. Cam purposefully distracted Lily so she wouldn't get hurt. Cam literally looked death in the eyes and laughed at it. She was so ready to risk it all and not look back. Sometimes she could be really stupid.

Ollie was silently yelling at herself. Her friend could very well die because of her. She tried to protect her and ended up in grave danger. Cam was never one to think about the consequences. She acted first and thought later. She always said things right out of her mind. Her filter didn't have time to react or be put into action. She would volunteer for things without even thinking. She would offer her help always. She took risks with no thought. Sometimes she could be really stupid.

The girls walked for a couple more hours before deciding to stop. Without Cam there to make a cave, they had to find there own. They must have gone the same way back that they went there because Lily saw the long rock bridge that Cam made. Lily smiled when she saw it. She was so scared to run across it, but Cam was there to make sure she was safe. They stopped at one of the caves and laid Cam down. There was blood peeking out of the makeshift cast they had made. It was good. That meant she wasn't bleeding as much. Lily slowly unwrapped the shirt scraps, cleaning each one as she went. Soon, they were all off her arm and you could see the blood all along her bicep. There wasn't nearly as much as before, but there certainly wasn't a healthy amount of it either. She took the old tee-shirt she used earlier and cleaned up her arm as much as she could. You could see the open wound now. It was pink and deep. It was fresh skin and it just kept bleeding. If they ever got home, they would definitely have to get her to a hospital. Lily wrapped the shirts around her arm again. She and Ollie sat in silence against the wall of the cave. Neither of them could sleep. They were kept awake with fear and adrenaline coursing through their blood. They eventually drifted off, thinking about how they were going to explain this to their parents.

(A/N Hey Hey Hey. Long time no see. I don't even know how long it's been. I know it's been over a week. That's all. I got so caught up in my other fics. You should go read them if you like Harry Potter. Ones about the next generation time traveling. Super original I know lol. The other one is about Ilvermorny. I'll be quiet so you can somewhat enjoy your Mondays.
