Dylan's POV

We were now in my car going away from school. Ray was sitting on the passenger seat staring out. She looked deep in thoughts.

I wonder what's going on her mind. She's quiet. Too quiet. She hasn't uttered a single word since I asked her to ditch school, then also her only response was a slight nod.

I can't help but wonder what this all fuss is about. I remember Alexa saying something about a guy. About Ray being not over him and all.

I looked at her, still staring out of the window. Still deep in thoughts.

A ray of sunlight falling on her face, making it glow.

We finally reached our destination. It was a small vintage café called "The Retřo". I come here a lot, its a nice cozy place and is a good place to sit and thing. It has a calm aura to it.

I looked at Ray. She was looking at the café with a sad smile on her face.

Everything with this girl is a mystery.

Ray's POV

And we are here!

'The Retřo'

I've been here before, with a certain brown eyed boy.

A sad smile took it's place on my lips.

(Flashback starts)

Currently we are at a small cafe "The retřo". It is a vintage style cafe with fairy light lighting the whole area.
After school Blake thought we should 'hangout'. So he brought me here.

"Hey, Are you Cindrealla???" Blake asked with a smirk.

Oh ya...I forgot to tell you this. Since school got over Blake is bombarding me with pickup lines... I've already heard around 37 pickup lines in past one hours.

"No Blake. I'm not Cindrealla." I said in a bored tone.

"Well won't you ask why am I asking that??" He said.

"You will tell me anyway. So shoot." I said.

"Because I can see that dress disappearing by mid-night" He winked.

"Ha ha...I'm dying out of laughter." I said in a flat tone.

Doesn't matter what I say, I can't stop myself from blushing.

(Flashback ends)

I looked at Dylan staring at me.

"You okay? " He asked.

"I will be. " I replied.

We entered the café. It hasn't changed a bit since I was last here.

We took a seat at the end booth.

"I'm ready anytime you are. " Dylan smiled.

I smiled.

" You couldn't have chosen a better place for this." I chucked.

He looked confused.

Dylan's POV

"You couldn't have chosen a better place for this." Ray chucked.

I was confused now.

"Let's start from the start." She said.

I nodded.

"There was this guy, Blake. We met on a school trip to Paris." She smiled.

I guess I know where this is going.

"So yeah we met and talked and talked a bit more. It was really nice, you know. And then at the last day of the trip, we kissed. Technically, I kissed him but yeah you get it. And after that I ran away. Can you believe it!? I ran away just after Kissing him. " She laughed.

I smiled.

"I ignored him for a week or so and then one day in school he just pulled me in an empty classroom and then he kissed me. And you know how I said that you have chosen a perfect place, it's because he showed me this place. The only time I've come here was with him" She continued.

She was smiling at the memory.

" How did.. You know... I mean what happened? " I asked.

Her smile vanished.

And then she told me...

She told me every good and bad thing.

She told me EVERYTHING!

"Do you think Alexa is right? Do you too think I'm an idiot for still holding onto his memories? " She whispered.

I breaks my heart to see her like this, doubting herself.

I hate to see her sad.

"Ray, Alexa is your best friend. She's only looking out for you. And I don't think you're an idiot for holding onto him. It's not easy to forget someone who gave you a lot to remember. It's not easy for you to forget him when every other thing reminds you of him. But you have to let go now. He may have his reasons. They may be valid, but you can't stop your life and abandon all your happiness because he left. " I said truthfully.

"Thanks Dylan, it really feels great to talk about this to someone. And I didn't cry, maybe this isn't that bad." She smiled.

I love that smile.
