I took a step inside the Ice Kingdom and it was freezing cold. Luckily we all had packed some winter clothes to keep ourselves warm. "YOU WHAT?!" I suddenly heard Spot shout really loud. I looked at the twins and noticed Raphael laughing nervously. Spot, who usually had a calm expression, now had an angered one. I walked towards Spot who was holding Raphael by his collar and asked why he shouted. Spot let go of Raphael's collar and pointed at him saying, "This idiot here replaced the winter clothes I brought with desert clothes!" I looked at Raphael and said, "Really?" I sighed and asked him again, "What part of 'we are going to the Ice Kingdom' did you not get?" I shook my head as Raphael tried to make up excuses for his actions. I turned my head towards Astra who came with some winter cloaks and winter boots. She threw a pair of shoes and a cloak to Raphael, while she handed Spot's to him nicely. "Well, let's get going then", I said.

We were hiking towards the north. I felt awkward with the silence around us, except Astra who was discussing about the location with Tabitha and occasionally me. The twins had a more awkward air around them, seeing as Spot was glaring at Raphael. I felt it get colder and then a gust of wind with snow suddenly hit us. A roar was heard and Spot stopped glaring at his brother. We looked ahead of us spotting a huge white beast that looked like a Behemoth. The difference was that this one had his fangs sticking out like a Sabertooth's teeth. It looked at us with eyes that showed fiery. The twins and I drew out our swords. Tabitha and Astra readied their magic orbs. The beast roared again and charged at us with full speed.

Astra fired magic at the beast, but it dodged. Tabitha fired afterwards, but the result stayed the same. The girls tried to hit it with their magic though the beast managed to dodge it every time. It would soon reach us and Astra aimed her magic at the beast before pointing it somewhere else. I looked up to where she pointed, I see, she's going to create an avalanche. That would surely kill the beast.

Astra fired her magic and hit a spot with a lot of snow on top which created an avalanche. Come to think of it, are we not standing at the same lane as the beast? "AVALANCHE!" I heard as I snapped out of my thoughts to look up to the snow which was tumbling down towards us. The answer suddenly came to my mind, "Astra! Are you trying to kill us with it?", I asked her with a shout. The only answer I got back was being suddenly dragged to run away from the avalanche. We ran and ran as we slipped at some spots trying to find somewhere to shelter from the avalanche. The twins and Tabitha suddenly stopped to do a sharp swing to the left under a rock. They grabbed me and Astra to pull us under the rock with them. The beast rolled past us being dragged down by the snow. We all sighed in relief as the avalanche was finally over.

We rose up again and began walking, but we were too exhausted to walk further up to the mountain peak. A cave was nearby and we set up camp there for the night.

The morning came so fast and the beautiful sunrise made the snow shimmer like crystals. I rose up to see that Astra was already awake staring at the sunrise. I tapped her shoulder and sat beside her, "You alright?". She nodded and smiled as she answered, "Yes, it's just that I've never been far away from home and I miss it". I was about to say something else when I heard a person talk, saying something that we had to keep on going.

Lucky for us today, we did not run into any monsters. We got to the top of the mountain and saw a castle with ice roofs which reflected the illuminating light from the sun. It was the library at last. There was a huge door in the front with snowflake and crystal designs. I opened the door only to be met with a crystal orb. I groaned in pain and rose up to see people or creatures, standing with their magic ready to fire. "We do not bring harm! We only wish to find an item's location", Astra said brave and fearless. They backed down as a woman clad in a teal blue dress with hair as white as snow and piercing blue eyes. She greeted us with an apology and introduced themselves as Guardians of The Great Library.

We were led through a hall of shelves filled with books. The woman stopped walking and waved her hand in front of a wall. I wondered why and a door appeared. Inside the room was a single book on top of a small stand and different pictures of the lakes story on the walls. "My name is Eloise and I welcome you to the chamber of Prophecies", the lady said. We walked to look at the book and opened it. "It's blank", we all said as the lady called Eloise chuckled.

I took a better look at it and swirls of black ink came into the book. It drew something. "The 'light' you are seeking is inside an object", Eloise began, "It resides in a pair of twins who were blessed by a spirit". We looked at her as she continued explaining the prophecy. "Where are the twins?" I asked curiously. Eloise chuckled again and said, "It is soon to be revealed as a magic necklace will reunite them". I was confused at what she said; until I drew out the necklace my father had given me. I looked around to see that Astra showed a necklace around her neck which looked exactly like mine.

The necklaces began to glow and two orbs of light came out to form two figures in front of us. One of them was a figure I never thought I would see again. The twins Raphael and Spot were watching interested in what was occurring, while Tabitha had a smile on her face. I looked at Astra who shared the same expression as me.

The glow soon dimmed and there stood my father and a woman whom I think was my mother. They smiled at me and Astra as the woman said, "I'm happy to see you reunited". Father then spoke and said, "We are sorry for not telling you any sooner". It was really them! Astra and I had tears running down our cheeks as they hugged us. I could feel my parents' warm embrace and was happy to at least see father again and meet my mother. All that is left in this tearful reunion are the explanations.
