The lake has turned black and the forest is slowly dying. What can I do to fix this? I promised I wouldn't let anyone steal the lake's core and yet, I failed to do so. I sat beside Basil as I tried my best not to cry. He looked at me and apologised again saying it was his fault because of his mission to steal it. I looked at him tears falling down to my cheeks and shook my head saying, "At least you did not try to do so, but tried to retrieve it".

Tabitha came flying towards us hurriedly telling me about the forest's condition. I stood up and wiped my tears then looked at Tabitha with a determined look. "We shall look for the 'light' to save and return balance to this forest," I said. Tabitha smiled at me and Basil rose from where he was to volunteer to come and help. We had a long journey a head of us.

We returned to the hut seeing as the creatures of the forest and the behemoths gathered there. They were asking on what happened and some blamed me for trusting an outsider who did not belong in the forest, but the behemoths defended me and Basil saying that I did not make a mistake and that Basil did not try to steal the core to destroy the balance. I assured them that we would find the 'light' to restore the balance and also defeat the one who had been responsible for taking the core.

After they left we went inside to plan our journey. "Ok, so we must go towards north to the Ice Kingdom's great library and find out where the ''light's'' location is," Astra explained with a map of Valencia on the dinner table.

We packed for our long journey; we bought with us warm winter clothes and some food to eat. After I packed I blew out the candle in my room lying down on my bed thinking on how this journey would be and if we would be able to find the 'light'. I shrug the thought away and fell into deep sleep.

I woke up realizing it was in the middle of day. I hurriedly got ready and went to the dining room seeing Tabitha and Basil who had food ready on the table. They smiled at me "It's alright, you've been awake late," Basil said. I smiled back at them and sat down beside Tabitha to eat. After doing a bit of our usual chores we grabbed our satchels and went off to start our journey to the Ice Kingdom's Great Library.

We have walked very far on foot out of the forest and there I stood looking in awe at the scenery of a field filled with flowers of different kinds in front of me. I have never been anywhere but the forest and Euryele. I can feel the warm breeze and smell the different scents of the beautiful flowers from the field in front of me. I closed my eyes smiling and when I opened them again, Basil asked me if it was beautiful. He earned a nod and smile from me before we began walking again. I've always wished to travel somewhere from the forest and now is a great opportunity.

We walked until night came and we set up camp. Basil went to gather firewood, Tabitha went to get water from a nearby spring and I went to a nearby lake to fish. As I walked to the lake I saw a field of glowing flowers illuminating in the dark. It looked beautiful, but it became even more stunning when the flowers began to float in the air. I crossed the field and went fishing in the lake and caught a lot for supper. When I came back, I lighted the fire with my magic and we all grilled our fishes. We talked a lot and told each other stories with a warm cozy air around us. We put out the fire and each went to our sleeping bags. I lied down looking at the twinkling stars above me and let myself fall into slumber.

I woke up early and went into the forest to pluck berries for breakfast. When I came back I saw Basil trying and failing to wake up Tabitha. I stood watching as Basil slammed his fist on his palm getting an idea which I was very curious of. He walked away and came back holding a bucket of water, this is not going to end up well for Basil. I saw him drop the water on sleeping Tabitha; she waked up with a shriek and glared at Basil. Basil started to run away from Tabitha as she was chasing him, threatening to beat him until he can't walk. I laughed at the sight and they froze to look at me. I smiled at them and said, "Why don't we have breakfast first so that Basil has enough energy to run or escape if he can and you, Tabitha can have enough energy to rip him up to pieces". Tabitha smiled at me and Basil looked at me with a look that said are you trying to kill me?

We finished breakfast and continued our journey. It seemed that Tabitha became a bit happier with breakfast than charge after Basil again. We finally came upon the edge of the forest and there, in front of us was a sandy desert. We stepped on the sand and looked around before continuing. It was very hot, but what the weird thing was that the temperature changed right after we stepped on the desert. The world really is more magical than I have imagined.
