"Call me if you need absolutely anything, don't second guess it, anytime of day just do it okay?" I worriedly pleaded.

"I will, same goes for you. Call me as soon as you finish talking to him, I want to make sure you're alright." Cat responded.

"Maybe I shouldn't go. Are you going to be okay alone?" I asked Cat for like the hundredth time.

"CJ" She said holding my shoulders.

"I will be just fine."

"We'll be here to take care of her too, Lily said linking arms with Cat and Jasmine threw an arm over her shoulder.

I chuckled at the sight of my best friends smothering my sister.

"Please keep me updated princess." Jasmine said reaching for my hands.

"I will."

"Seriously, as much as you can because I'm gonna go crazy without you and not knowing if your safe."

I held her face.

"I promise you that I'll text and call you whenever I can throughout the days." I replied, then kissing her.

"I love you" she said pulling me into her chest.

"I love you too" I responded holding her tight, my head buried in her neck.

The time came for me to get on a flight to Florida. I turned to my girls and waved a nervous goodbye before emerging through the sliding doors that led me to the security check.

My stomach was churning with anxiety about this trip, not knowing what to really expect. I will be staying for three day, hopefully that is enough to also catch up with my friends. I filled out and sent all the forms and called to scheduled visitation for tomorrow. It was quite the long process to put my name on the list and get my background information, and there is even more to the process when I arrive, it'll take a good chunk of my day. Apparently my father is being investigated for violent charges made against him, so it will be non-contact visitation. Though I'm slightly relieved, I kind of wanted to show him in not afraid to face him without barrier.

While waiting to arrive at my destination, I used this time to write. I pulled out the notebook Jasmine gave me for Christmas and flipped through many pages already adorned by my messy handwriting. Sadly, with everything that has happened the last couple of months, I have not been able to do as much writing as I would have liked. I find it therapeutic, so now was a great time to do so.

About 3 hours later, the flight landed in West Palm Beach. I immediately pulled out my phone to text Jacob that I had landed. He should be waiting for me with Alison. They called me the night that my father was on the news. When I first talked this out with them, they didn't think me coming was a good idea either. Understandably, they did see first hand the injuries and pain I suffered all those years. However, when I told them I needed to do this, they supported me whole heartedly. Jacob offered for me to stay at his house since he now lives in his own place, much better than Alison's parents questioning me about my father and telling my mother.

"CJ!" Yelled Alison a little too loudly, running up the ramp to meet me half way for a hug.

"Oh my god I missed you so much, I'm so happy you're here." She exclaimed.
